song for this: Both Sides Of The Story, We Are The In Crowd
song quote: you're not quite satan but i really think i hate you
tonight is our last show on the tour, we are a bit sad about it but we are all happy to see our families.
we were all on our tour bus driving to Virginia Beach, VA, our next gig which happens to be three hours away from our hometown. i was in the back room which had a huge TV and multiple gaming systems, an 'L' shaped couch and many blankets. i was in the center with mounds of blankets surrounding me, there were snacks scattered throughout the room. my eyes glued to the TV screen as Halo: The Masterchief Collection played full blast.
i was only on the first game but the last mission, the Flood was about to start. my mind went full concentration as i saw tiny alien after tiny alien trickle into the room.
i was staring too intently at the screen and was so into the game that when Cas entered the room i almost jumped out of my skin and squeaked.
"cheese and rice, Cas!" i exclaimed, as i paused the game.
"my god, Andy! you've been at this game since we got back on the bus, come on we have two hours left until VA Beach, go rest, you'll need it for tomorrow's show,"she said, sitting next to me and stroking my long black hair.
"ok, i'm just gonna rest here," i said, yawning and snuggled into her shoulder. the fans shipped 'Candy' quite hard, multiple fan accounts were dedicated to us, and many fanfictions.
"ok," she softly chuckled. and got up from the couch to go back to her bunk.
'hehe little did she know,' i thought to myself.
i turned the game back on and lowered the volume. i continued to play for another half an hour until i decided to freshen up and get ready for the day ahead, but i didn't get up to actually do anything for another hour.
"my god Andy you're pathetic!" i heard Mel shout as she entered the room, the light hurt my eyes from being in a dark room for numerous hours."your hobby has gone to far!"
"it's not a hobby, it's a life style," i shouted back, "and me staying up all night will give me a sexy raspy voice, and i can growl better for the stage!"
"ugh, what ever go take a shower,"she said laughing, "it reeks in here."
i stuck my tongue at her and shut off the game. i stumbled to the bathroom and turned the water on. i got my phone and opened Spotify, pressing shuffle on my playlist labeled "mai lady jamz" (a/n this is actually my playlist, you should follow it ;-)) and Tell Me Baby by the Red Hot Chili Peppers started playing.
i stripped and hopped in the shower. thoroughly washing my hair and body.
once i was done, i toweled and blow dried my hair leaving it naturally curly down past my waist. i blended bb cream onto my face adding bronzer and a highlight on my cheeks. i surrounded my eyes in eyeliner and used a white eyeshadow for my lid and a dark purple for my crease. i applied the light blue minty eos Chapstick to my mouth, and left the bathroom.
Logan finally decided to get up and 'be apart of the world' my grandfather would to say. she was walking around like a zombie, and i wasn't much better.
i desperately searched around for my k-cup box, the only flavor i liked, the hazelnut one. ah, finally! only one left, damn i need to ask John to pick up more from the store. i made my coffee and went to get dressed. black skinnies with multiple rips on the legs, and a foo fighters t-shirt, which i cut the sleeves off and lowered the neckline to.
John, or what we call him Josh, was one of my best friends, he was also Cas's older brother, but only by two minutes.
"Jooooosssshhhh," i groaned, as i walked towards the main living area.
"Aaaaandy," he replied, looking up from his phone.
"we need more of my coffee!!" i said sitting next to him and swinging my legs up to rest across his lap.
"i'll pick some up after the show," he said. i thanked him and ruffled his dark curly mop of hair.
"and then we'll head home," i slightly smiled. home the thought sent shivers down my spine. the band brought me out of my home, out of my shell. i had a terrible past, terrible childhood. but one that i didn't want to think of. i was happy to see old friends and my dog Jaime, she was a red brown pure bred Bull Mastiff. i named her after the Mayday Parade song Jaime All Over, but i bought her after my dog Honey passed away, she looked just like her.
i'm even happier to see my grandfather who is taking care of my dog and the house we lived in together. he was my happiness, once my grandmother passed and we were both alone we moved in to a new place just for us. he was my stability, the only family i've ever had, that i would actually call my own.
i drank the rest of my coffee, feeling refreshed and energized. Josh and i talked for a couple of minutes, about miscellaneous things.
my phone starting buzzing, i looked down and it was our manager. i quickly pressed the green button and placed it on my ear.
"hey Dave, what's up?" i said into the speaker.
"nothing, Dy," he said, he had always called me that, he was like a father to us all."but-uh, i have some exciting news for you girls, i'll meet you in the tour bus after the show tonight to tell you."
i laughed and oked him. we talked briefly before he hung up to do more work. i took my mind off of what he said and went to tell the girls.
"yo! dudes!" i yelled.
"what?!" i heard Mel and Logan yell back. but Cas popped her head out of her bunk.
"Dave is gonna come by after the show to tell us some big news," i said going on my phone and opening Instagram. they groaned or replied with an ok.
i opened up the camera feature and turned around, before shouting selfie. Mel ran out of the back room to take one and Cas poked her head out again, we all made weird faces.
i posted it to the band account and added a nice comment about how well the tour went and how sad we were it was over, then shared it to Facebook and Twitter.

"we would just like to thank you all for this amazing opportunity," Cas said into the mic. we had just finished our ending speech.
"goodnight!" i saluted to the crowd. and cheers and cries erupted.
just as promised, Dave was on the bus patiently waiting for four sweaty and smelly girls to come back.
"hey, Dave," Logan waved and we nodded our head at him and mumbled hi's.
"so the huge news that i've been dying to tell you all," he said excitedly."drumroll please."
we all rapidly patted out thighs or the counter top.
"you are going on tour in a month with," he said quickly and then gasped for air,"Five Seconds Of Summer!!"
