Chapter 3: Charcole and Carrots

"COLE," Caroline says loudly as she walks over to the friend group.

"Huh," Cole questions as Caroline hids behind him. 

"Is that Charcole and Carrots?!" 

They all turn to see this oddly dressed man shouting it down the hallway.

"NO," Cole says, "Is there time to run?"

He looks to Caroline.

"No time, my friend," the guy who was down the hall was suddenly behind Cole and Caroline.

"Who's this," Logan asks?

"Guys meet Zane, our friend from back home," Cole says, "Zane, this is Logan, Jasmine, Lindy, and Garrett."

He points to each of them as he says their names.

"Yo peeps," Zane says, "Hey Carrots"

He looking behind Cole but she wasn't there.

"Why do you call Caroline - Carrots?"

Garrett asks Zane.

"She's freakishly healthy and she likes Carrots," Zane responds, "Where'd she go?"

The others made weird faces at that nickname. They understood the meaning but it just seemed odd to them, yet none of them could figure out why.

"She always sneaks away somehow, she does that now," Cole tells Zane.

"I forgot about her 'people problem' and now that she has more friends I guess it's worse," Zane says.

"People problem," Jasmine and Lindy questions?

"She gets anxious around people so she sneaks away while you guys were distracted," Garrett says. 

"Yo, how did you know that," Zane asks Garrett.

"Because her and I talk like every day, doesn't she talk to you guys?"

They all said different versions of, "No."

"Heh odd. Well I got someone to go find. See ya," Garrett says as he walks away.

"Delia," Zane says as he looks down, "I like your socks!"

"Thank you," she says as she looks to the others because they all called them weird.

"Well I better get to art class. I'm painting a portrait of my cat, Jennifer, and it's going to be perfect. Bye, peeps," Zane says.

"Hey peeps is a cool word. Maybe I should start saying it," Logan says as he points to himself with a goofy smile on his face.

"Hey, sweetie, let's get to class before you learn anymore useless words," Jasmine responds.

Hey I know I said it would longer but I normally write on my laptop, but I clumsily spilt something on it. Now it doesn't work. I got this far before this incident. I'm going to publish this so I can give you Chapter 3.

I promise I'll try to be back soon with a long chapter.
