Izuku's pov
Oh wow, the Quirk Apprehension started. It's just my luck that I have to start with the first task, the ball throw. Eraserhead, one of my new favorite heroes and now my teacher at first asked me my throw record in middle school. Since I didn't really participate in any sports event my school held, I only had one from very early stages of my training. So I said:
My last measured throw was about 26 metres far and was categorized as a quirkless throw.
Some of my classmates laughed about the short distance. Aizawa then earned some of my respect by yelling:
Oh you think this is funny, okay, the one with the least points will be expelled.
Suddenly my entire class was silent. I knew one of them was going to fail. I was going to at least get in the top five in this test. But first, I now have to focus on this task. To not be disqualified I asked Mr. Aizawa if I really could do anything if I just don't leave the throwing ring. He assured me.
Then I take a deep, audible breath and throw the ball straight into the air. As it reaches the pinnacle of its flying curve, I yell Diable Jambe and kick the ball into the sky. The fire my attack produced is viewable for the entire flight duration, even if at the end you could mistake it for a tiny spark. I now slowly turn around and ask Mr Aizawa, how far the ball really flew. He tells me that it flew 1053 metres. In this task I got second behind the brown haired girl who scored a distance of Infinity with her zero gravity quirk.
The next task is the 50-meter-dash, where I must compete against Kacchan, who smiled at me since technically we are still friends, and the maybe little brother of Ingenium. This time I obliterated the task with my time of 0,000000166782 seconds. (time light needs to travel 50 metres), by using Jet Pistol on a tree just behind the finish line. IIda came second place with a time of 2,84 seconds and Kacchan reached a time just below 3 seconds and got third. In the other tasks I coudn't use my quirk, but at least I made decent scores in the upper half of the leaderboards.
At the end I got second overall, before Kacchan, but behind a girl called Yaoyorozu, who has a creation quirk and used machines and gadgets to power up her scores.
Contrary to our expectations Aizawa really expelled someone. It was a close match between Mineta, a small guy, that has sticky ball-hair as his quirk, which helped him at least a little in the Repeated side steps task since he himself bounced off of them, and an invisible girl, that fully has to rely on her physical attributes.
But at the end Mineta got the lead, the next-to-last overall and the girl has to leave UA with only single digit points less.
