After the quirk apprehension test was finished, another surprise awaited Class 1A. First of all, All Might was their Heroics teacher and he had planned a villain vs hero game to test their fighting skills and quirks. He said the teams would be random, but somehow Izuku, the second placed in the quirk apprehension test ended up with Katsuki, who got third and they had to fight Yaoyorozu, the first place and Shoji, the fourth place. Shoji and Yaoyorozu are team A, the villain team which has to defend a fake-bomb, they placed. They would win if they survive a set time, without a hero touching the bomb. The hero team, team D, which includes Katsuki and Izuku have to either touch the bomb or capture both villains before the time is up. The villains got released five minutes before the heroes to hide the bomb and prepare themselves. Meanwhile, the hero team talks shortly about a strategy and then they catch up with each other. Katsuki says sorry for leaving Izuku and Izuku forgives him. They then hug and the game starts.
It was pretty easy for them to locate the building the bomb is in, since Yaoyorozu decorated the doors with spiked wires and other traps. Upon seeing this, Izuku asked:
Hey Kacchan, how fast do we want to win? Instantly?
Before Bakugo could reply, Midoriya uses Jet Pistol to smash through the second floor window and right next to the bomb. His following punch breaks the bomb into small pieces and the wall behind it gets damaged heavily. Yaoyorozu, Shoji, All Might and the rest of 1A besides Bakugo, stare in shock with wide open mouths. The blond explosion boy just laughs about the incredible power his childhood friend inherits.
