Y/n heard the sound of heels clicking behind her and turned. Lauren was walking down the stairs in a tight dark red dress. Lauren had curled her hair to perfection. She also had minimal makeup on her face. Y/n's heart started racing when Lauren smiled at her.

The woman offered her hand for Lauren for the last stairs. Lauren happily grabbed onto it.

"My God, you look beautiful," Y/n said as Lauren finally stood in front of her. The woman leaned over and planted a gentle kiss on Lauren's cheek. She blushed at the gesture. "Red really is your color."

"Thank you for picking it," Lauren said and smiled widely. The brunette woman walked right up to her and wrapped a hand around her neck. "You look lovely as well."

Y/n was wearing some black pants paired with a black shirt and a dark red blazer over it. She was matching with Lauren. Louise had been the median between the two with coordinating their outfits. And she did a fantastic job with it.

The two had gotten into the back seat of the car and were off. The entire car ride, Y/n's hand was placed on the inside of her thigh. The brunette woman tried so hard not to just rock her hips forward and cave entirely. Y/n noticed and just wore a proud smirk as the two stayed quiet in the car ride.

Once they got to the venue, they had gotten down from the car. Both walked up to Patrick, who had driven them there. Lauren embraced him in a hug and a kiss on either cheek. "Happy birthday, Patrick."

"Oh, thank you," Patrick said and glanced over at Y/n. "Keep her around. She's a good one."

"I'm trying," Y/n said and shook the man's hand. "Happy birthday, Patrick. Come on, let's go celebrate!"

The two women had placed their masks on before entering. Lauren and Y/n got to the back with a reserved table that was isolated from everything else. The venue was packed with a large number of people and loud music. The two had made it to the table when two cocktails were immediately served to them.

"So, who are you trying to hide from again?" Lauren said softly and curled her arms around one of Y/n's. Both women's eyes scanned the crowd.

"Let's just assume everyone here doesn't like me. Well, majority," Y/n said and smiled slightly over at Lauren.

"And you came here because?" Lauren asked and furrowed her eyebrows. Y/n leaned over to Lauren as her other hand gentle held Lauren's thigh.

"I love a good party," Y/n said and smirked. Lauren's hands came up and ran down the side of her face. She leaned in slightly before pulling away. "And most importantly, I wanted to see you all dressed up for me."

"For you?" Lauren asked and smiled loosely. "Why do you say I dressed up for you?"

"If you didn't, you would have worn any other color. But you chose the color I wanted," Y/n said and rubbed her hand over Lauren's thigh. "You look divine."

"You should see me without the dress on," Lauren said as she grabbed the cocktail and took a sip of it. Y/n's eyes raked over her every move. "Of course, that's later on. It wouldn't be classy if you and I did it in the bathroom."

"Is that something you have on your mind?" Y/n asked as a smug smile crept up on her face. Lauren playfully hit her arm and shook her head.

"Maybe. But, I was thinking that the two of us could go to the city. Or just out in the garden all day so you can tell me the rest of the story," Lauren said as she grabbed onto Y/n's chin.
