Knock. Knock. Knock.

"Come in!" Lauren yelled as she curled herself into a pillow. The brunette woman turned as she looked towards the door. Y/n came in and looked towards the pile of pillows that were covering Lauren. The second that they locked eyes, the brunette woman sat up.

"Hey you," Y/n said as she sat down at the edge of Lauren's bed. "You okay? You've been sleeping all day."

"Yeah, just-just tired," Lauren said and nodded her head. Truthfully, Lauren was having intense nightmares about Leo's death. It had only been two days since it happened, but Lauren still felt as though she was still living in that moment. "I want to do something."

"Yeah? What's that?" Y/n asked and tilted her head. Her hand slid over to touch Lauren's. The brunette woman pulled her hand away as Y/n's touched hers.

"I want to bury Leo," Lauren said and gulped. Y/n furrowed her eyebrows. The brunette woman was fearful of her reign at that moment. Maybe that was a bad thing to ask for.

"No," Y/n said simply. The woman turned to face Lauren fully and sighed. "There's probably more people that are keeping their eyes out on me. The last thing I need is for evidence to be planted on me. I don't know where Leo is buried and frankly, I don't want to. Neither should you. You'd spend your life in a six by eight feet box if you care too much."

"You're right. I'm sorry. I just have a little bit of remorse still in me," Lauren said and gulped softly. The brunette woman got up from her bed. Y/n just sat there, not moving a muscle as Lauren got a robe on for breakfast.

"Lauren?" Y/n called out softly and looked over her shoulder at the woman. "I really am sorry about your friend. Even if you two didn't know each other long. You seemed to really care about him. I'm sorry that it has to be this way."

"I'm a tough girl, I can get used to it," Lauren said and walked into her bathroom. The brunette woman threw her hair up into a messy ponytail and turned to walk out of the bathroom. Y/n stood there at the door's entrance. Lauren jumped at the presence of her so close. "Jesus! Please make some noise with your footsteps."

"Sorry," Y/n said softly and leaned against the wall frame. The look Y/n was giving Lauren was making her melt with emotions.

"What?" Lauren asked as she grabbed her toothbrush. The woman watched her carefully as she applied the paste and started brushing. Y/n was watching her with a slight smile on her face.

"Did I ever tell you how gorgeous you are?" Y/n asked and tilted her head. Lauren rolled her eyes at her through the mirror. The brunette woman spit her toothpaste out before continuing to brush. Y/n walked into the bathroom and shut the door. Lauren's heart rate picked up as Y/n walked up right behind her. The woman wrapped her arms loosely around Lauren's waist as she looked at her through the mirror. Lauren bent over slightly to rinse her mouth. Y/n held her tighter as Lauren stood upright once again. The woman's head turned to brush against Lauren's skin. Y/n gently placed a kiss right on Lauren's neck. The brunette woman practically melted as she shut her eyes. "You are the most gorgeous woman I've ever set my eyes on."
