After spending all day, doing seperate tasks with each person of the group, it was fair to say Jennie was exhausted.
All she wanted was to sleep, and just forget this whole thing. But she knew that was a selfish thought because that would mean
Kai, Taehyung and Chanyol had died in vain.
Their families had died in vain
After spending an hour playing street fighter with Ryujin on her little game boy, Jennie dragged herself into her bedroom, surprised to see Lisa with a smile on her face.
"Hey baby"
Jennie smiled and was soon in Lisa's arms, loving the warmth and security that she provided
"So? How was it"
"The most exhausting thing I've ever done in my life. But I'm glad I did it, because-" Jennie ct herself off there.
She was tired of crying, and she was sure that the Kiecotta inside her was too.
Damn right I am
"It's okay. Well it's not. But we'll be fine." Lisa said reassuringly, though it sounded as if she was trying to tell herself that.
"What did you wanna do babe?" Jennie asks looking up at her girlfriend, getting lost in her grey eyes
"mmm, cuddle"
Jennie chuckled as they stood up, laying down comfortably on the bed. Lisa sighed as Jennie's muscular arms wrapped around her body
"I'm scared." Lisa whispered, eyes closed as she felt herself drift away
"Me too. But. I'm not as scared anymore."
Before Lisa even had time to question her, she drifted into a nightmare-less sleep

"Okay, so we're gonna collect you guys instead of just waiting for you to arrive" JB said as he entered the room
"Nice" Jisoo said, grabbing her and Chaeyoung's bags
They all had nothing. Just the memories with each other. They'd carry some food, some water, but that was round about it
Jennie walked out of her room, Lisa trailing sadly behind her
"I gotta head out." Jennie said, voice tired
Let me take over
Jennie quickly embraced her group in a hug, and then she places a kiss on Lisa's face
"Love you guys"
The group smiled at her, and JB watched awkwardly, not really knowing what to do.
Jennie's eyes changed from a bright gold, to a dark, dangerous gold, red and black spots, flickering through the waves
"Well. We're off." The Kiecotta said, grabbing Jennie's bag and weapons
"Wait. Will you need a pick up?" JB asked innocently
The Kiecotta smiled
"No. No we'll be alright" they said before leaving the place Jennie called home for so long.
"Your brave Lisa. And we're proud of you" Seulgi said, patting her shoulder
Lisa smiled through her tears, but still felt the gut wrenching pain.
