30. Prom part 2

Heads up so this chapter will be mostly dedicated to more detail on Luke's backstory as why he was a "bad boy". Also thank y'all so much for being so patient with me and I'm glad to be back.

Luke's POV (With Juke)

Me : Watch it smart ass

Reggie : oh come on why is it that Julie can call you Lukey but no one else can

Me : Because that's her nickname for me just like how you can't call me sweet boi either

Reggie : fine you're so whipped tho

Me : shut up and go dance with your girlfriend like old times

Reggie : oh yeah your right FLYNN!!

Reg runs over to Flynn and yanks her away from Jules to go farther away on the dance floor. Jules walks back over to me with that adorable sparkle in her eyes.

Jules : They both look so much happier again don't you think?

Me : yeah it's nice to hear them laugh together again

Jules lays her head on my chest cuz she can't reach my shoulder and forces my arm around her

Jules : we'll never break up right?

Me : What? No of course not I'd be miserable without you princess

Jules : Awe you're so sweet

Me : Let's go dance shall we

Jules : we shall

Just as we get back onto the dance floor  a slow song begins to play that sounds kind of familiar.

DJ : here's a song from your very own Julie and the Phantoms called "Perfect Harmony" enjoy all you love birds. That includes you too Julie and Luke

We both look at each other and chuckle before swaying back and forth to the music with her hands around my neck and mine around her waist. This brings me back to how it all started and I can't help but smile softly to myself. After all the blackmail and peer pressure i went through in the past , this moment right now makes that all disappear into the very back of my mind. Suddenly I have the urge to do something.

Just as the song was about to end I break away from Jules and run up to the DJ to ask her a quick favor. She nods her head and I go back down to the dance floor a good 6 ft away from Jules. She's giving me a confused look as the DJ begins to speak.

DJ : Can I have everyone clear the dance floor except Julie Molina and Luke Patterson? Also will Reggie and Alex Molina please join up here with their instruments?

Alex and Reg head to the DJ booth with their instruments in hand (a/n ; for this thy have string instruments) while Jules continues to give me a confused look. It was only til the opening to Perfect Harmony began to play again that Jules reposed what's happening and makes a huge grin.

(A/n ; basically their preforming perfect t harmony just like they day they had their first kiss at that party sunset curve played at beat the beginning of the story)

(Just imagine the. In their prom stuff)

*after the dance*

Everyone started cheering and I even saw Alex tearing up the big baby. I turn Jules back to facing me after I let her go and she kisses me and I could feel the smile on her lips. When she released from the kiss she just wrapped her arms around me without saying a word.

As were standing I get a glimpse of two people I did not want to see today. What are they even doing here? I start to get that horrible pit feeling that I used to get when they were around me. They started wElkins closer to me and Jules.

Tyler : Hey Lucas long time no see eh Rick?

Rick : yeah where've you been man we've missed you

Me : What do you want guys?

Jules leans up to my ear

Jules : (whispering) Sweet boi who are these guys?

I shake my head to dismiss her question and look back at the guys

Rick : we just want to see how life has been since your not around anymore. You're Julie right?

Jules : yes that's right and you are exactly

Rick : Rick and Tyler we are old friends of Lucas over here.

Tyler : speaking of Lucas can we talk to you for a second

I hate the name Lucas they just call me it to piss me off cuz they know my mother used to call me that. I don't know what they are planning but to keep them away from Jules I nod

Me : yeah whatever we can talk in the hallway. Jules I'll be right back give me 10 minutes why don't you get some food?

Jules : Alright you sure you're okay?

Me : yes I'm fine go get something to eat

Jules : okay bye

I kiss her cheek and watch her go over to the snack table. Rick , Tyler and I walk out to the hallway to talk.

Me : Alright what's your guys deal?

Tyler : you've gone soft you know that? I haven't seen you at any parties or in detention for the last couple months? What has that little good girl done to you man?

Rick : yeah when's the last time we've all hung out and got into it with the police huh? That little rat could've screwed you up that much

I was angry at this point. These guys all brought out the worst in me. I never enjoyed being the way I was and I could never control my anger around these two. That's why I was rude an a player and in detention everyday since I parted ways with Jules. Not because I wanted to but because that was my only way to survive. With running away and these guys shoving drugs and alcohol down my throat I didn't know what else to do. So I kept up the act until my beautiful ray of sunshine came into my life.

Me : Fuck off guys you're not about to bring me back to what I was no matter how hard you try.

Rick : oh really? Well well big tough is trying to call us out huh? Tyler get the bag.

I turn to see what Tyler was grabbing when I feel something hard hit my head and it all faded out as I hear muffled voices and something being shoved down my throat.

So yeah that's part 2. Ima say this sort of the story will be about 3 to 4 parts to make it as not rushed as possible. Once again thanks to moodwriter05 for partnering with me and thanks you guys for being so patient. As always
