"sweetheart are you awake, its almost time for school" i heard my mom say from the kitchen. "no" i shouted back at her "Y/N" ugh. i moan as i get up, i put on my led zeppelin tee and slid on some random jeans i found on my floor then put on some random black sneakers. after that i left my room and went into the kitchen, my mom handed me breakfast

after i finished eating i grabbed my backpack, said bye to my mom.. little did i know...

i left out of the door and walked my normal route to school but when i was about halfway there i saw a woman with a piece of wood sticking through her heart, she was very pale with limp dark hair and very beautiful. i ran to her to see if she was okay, she didn't reply for a few seconds "h-help me" she finally spoke "how, i want to help i really do" "dr-drink this" she said handing me her bloody wrist "what do i do" "dr-drink please" i drank her blood "n-now what?" "come h-here.. hurry" she said signaling for me to put my neck by her mouth.. i did it and she stuck her teeth into my neck amd started sucking all the blood she needed.. my vision started to get fuzzy when she stopped and wiped her mouth.. then everything went black

i woke up in an unfamiliar room, it was beautiful.. almost all black with accents of red, it looked like a vampire princess' room. i tried to stand up but fell over immediately, the woman that i saved ran into the room and told me to rest "um where the fuck am i why cant i walk? who even are you.. sorry if i sound rude" "no no no, its okay dear. i turned you and were at my house" "what do you mean you turned me?" "you're a vampire, love" what. the. fuck. i got up and ran to the beautiful mirror over the dresser "no.. i have a reflection" "dear that's only in the movies" the woman said with a chuckle. i noticed my skin slowly fading from y/s/c to this greyish white colour "oh my god" i said as i slowly started walking back to the bed but ended up falling again, the woman helped me to the bed

"i know you probably have a lot of questions so ask away"
"what happened to you? why was there a piece of wood pierced through you?"
"that piece of wood is called a stake, its one of the only two ways to kill a vampire."
"okay now what happened"
"i visited (the state you're from) to meet up with my sister and my ex husband saw me, he wanted me back but i said no and he got mad, tried to kill me then you saved me. do you have any other questions?"
"what's the other thing that can kill a vampire?"
"wooden bullets."
"am i dead?"
"yes"
"why me? why did you turn me?"
"because you were sweet enough to help me and you would've died also vampire are almost completely infertile"
"so you want me to be your daughter"

"will i ever see my real mom"
"no.. im sorry y/n, your lifespan is way longer than hers and its too dangerous to go back.. the guy who tried to kill me is a hunter and can smell vampires"

"you should get some rest dear.. you have training in the morning" the woman said as she kissed my forehead

i like her.. but i miss my mom i thought to myself as i fell asleep.

i woke up and just stared at everything.. i guess this is my life now.. i got up and walked over to my mirror that now had a beautiful red and black dress hanging over it. i got undressed then looked in the mirror.. fuck i looked dead. all the colour in my skin had left, my eyes lost its light and my lips were chapped and faded, i just looked at myself this didn't feel real.. i noticed i gotten a little bit skinnier. i put on the dress. (its the helena dress aaa) i noticed a note sitting on the dresser

i smile slightly at the 'xoxo, mom' part i followed the directions in the note and i got to the yard and the woman greeted me "uhm if were gonna be training why do i have this dress on" "sorry its the only thing i have that will fit you, we can go shopping tomorrow"

eight hours later x

"wow you learn fast" my new mom said with a smile

after that i went back to my room, changed then fell asleep
