"And that's Natsuo and Fuyumi," She pointed at the picture, smiling softly. The redhead was sat on the arm of the armchair, looking through an old photo album.
"Nana, is that you?" Kaji asked, poking her face on the picture.
She laughed softly, "Yep, that's me. A very long time ago.."
"How long?" He raised his brows as he leant into the kind woman.
"Well i was 30 then... so about 26 years." She nodded.

Kaji gasped "That's 11 years more than i have been here!"
"Indeed it is, you're so smart," She grinned, pulling the boy into her side.
"Nana Rei can i have a snack?" Kōri asked shyly as he shuffled towards her, fiddling with his own fingers.
"Of course, angel," She stood up from the chair, leaving Kaji in place.

"Kōri come look at dad when he was 5 like us!" He jumped onto the seat and set the album in his lap, tapping the space next to him. The white haired boy pushed himself up onto the chair, allowing the other half of the book to fall onto his legs.

They stared at the pictures, flicking through a few times before coming across another picture.
"Natsuo, Fuyumi and daddy." He said proudly as he motioned towards each of them.
Kōri tilted his head as he inspected the picture further "Who is that?"
Kaji hummed in joint confusion.

Their dad strolled into the room with Koyuki clung to his chest.
"Daddy, who is that?" Kaji stared up at him with curious orange eyes, referring to a redheaded boy with turquoise eyes.
"Hm?" He questioned before stalking around to the back of the armchair to peer down at the picture.

"That's... my older brother, Touya," He sighed, placing a hand on his son's head "He died when i was younger,"
"How?" He wondered.

It's pretty blatant, but Kaji was quite the curious kid, always wanting to learn more, to know more and to know the most. He never wanted to leave any questions unanswered, he always wanted reason.

"I'll tell you about it when you're older," He forced a smile, knowing full well the man wasn't dead.
"How old was he? How old were you?" He raised his head, leaning back so he could meet his fathers eyes.
He sighed through his nose "I was 7 and he was 15,"
Kaji nodded, looking back at the photo "Do you miss him?"

Shoto took a moment to think of an answer before replying sadly "I didn't know him well enough to miss him."

"KŌRI WHERE ARE THE BATTERIES?!" Kaji yelled as he rummaged through one of the drawers in the living room.
He groaned in complaint "I don't know. And stop yelling, i'm right here,"
"KOYUKI!!" He shouted and she came waltzing into the room, a spoonful of nutella held up to her mouth.
"What, butthole?" She rolled her eyes sassily.
"Where does dad keep the batteries?" He scowled, pushing it shut, some old newspaper falling out onto the floor.

He ignored it and moved onto the next drawer.
"I don't know, why?" She raised a brow as she watched him rage.
"My controller ran out and i'm trying to play a game with Ichika,"
"And Izume?" She teased.
He spat "Just shut up about Izume, will you? She doesn't even like video games,"
"Ooookay," She sang as she left the room, eating the nutella.

"Where the fu- Oh- found them," He picked up the box, taking out a few batteries and putting them back.
He was about to pick up the newspaper article but the headline caught his eye.

Super Villain Dabi - caught at last?
24th September xxxx

'That's the day Uncle Katsuki got his scar right?' he thought to himself and scooped up the paper, flipping it open properly.
