*lillians pov*
I woke up to a loud churning sound of metal. I felt the weight shift in the hammock and I opened my eyes to see newt waking up also. I started to get up but I tripped causing the bed to flip sending both me and newt to the ground. I landing on top of him causing him to groan in pain
"Hehe morning" I said leaning down to kiss him. newt rolled me over kissing me in the process.
"Come on the box is coming up we must have a new Greenie." Newt grabbed my hand pulling me up.
"Ooo yay another friend" I said laughing,
"Don't get to excited whoever it is doesn't know who they are or why they are here so you can't be to hyper" he said also laughing. he reached down and intertwined his fingers in mine. we started slowly jogging over to where the box was. almost everyone was already there and we had to push are way to the front of the crowned. When we got to the front the box halted to a stop. Gally, Alby, and a few other gladers lifted the doors of the box. the high pitch sound of metal against metal made me bring my hands to my ears, sure I was use to the sound with the box coming up once a week with new supplies. I looks it the box when it opened and there was a guy when messy brown hair, brown eyes and he was wearing a light grey shirt and a darker shade of pants.he was attractive but not as much as newt. speaking of newt he jumped down into the box and started talking to the newbie. I didn't hear what they were saying because everyone was talking loudly. next thing I know the Greenie was running towards the west wall. I started running towards him easy catching up I quickly tripped him trying yo stop him. it worked well and everyone was now surrounding him.
"I was thinking you could be a runner until you face planted" I heard someone say I think gally.
"Hey I tripped him so he would stop running" I said but no one heard me I kept being pushed in the back of the group. i started slowly walking into the forest away from everyone. I started walking until I came apond a tall tree. I started to climb until I was as tall as I could go without the branches breaking I didn't know how high I was but it was taller then the wall. I could almost see something in the sky something unnatural. the sky almost shimmered. I started to crawl along the branch trying to get a better look.
"LILLY!!!" I bearly heard someone yell the voice was so sudden that I lost my balance.
(Spoilers! Btw I'm going by the books mostly alittle by the movie. sorry it's been so long good cliff hanger tho I'm i right vote if I'm right lol )
