Sue. She's my new foster parent? No way. Jocelyn the manager of the orphanage called me to her office. There was a lady with blonde hair, and Jocelyn me to sit next to her. So I did.

"Jade, this is Sue." She told me.

"Hello, dear." Sue says to me.

"Hi, and don't call me 'dear' or my name cause I don't like you and I don't want you to be stuck with me for the rest of my life." I said, and both of them gave me shocked looks.

"Jade!" Jocelyn scolded me.

"What?! She's a blondie, I hate blondies."

Sue brushed her blonde with fingers, I rolled my eyes.

"Jade, do you want to stay here forever?" Jocelyn asked me.

I thought for a moment. "No."

"Then will you at least try  to live with Sue for a week?"

"Fine." I considered, just to get out of here for a bit.

I packed my stuff and went with Sue. She drove me to her house. The front yard had daisy and bluebells. The house was white and peach, with a doorbell hanging from the wall. She opened the door for me and I went inside. The house was okay I guess.

"Dixie, mommy's home," Sue calls into the house

"Dixie, mommy's home," Sue calls into the house.

She has a daughter? This is getting even more terrible.

"MOMMY!!" A girl came running out to hug Sue.

"Dixie, this is your new sister, Jade." Sue introduces me.

"Stepsister, don't put it the wrong way kid," I tell Dixie.

"I'm 7!" Dixie says.

"Okay, Jade your room is up the stairs and two lefts." Sue tells me.

I go up the stairs and go two lefts. My room was blue, sky blue, NICE! There was a bed, a table, a closet, a table and chair, and a bathroom. I put my stuff down and put everything in the closet and went down again.

"Hey, Jade!" Dixie stops me.

"What?"

"Can you go cycling with me?"

"No."

"Come on! You're my big sister now."

"No, I'm your stepsister and my only sibling is my brother Jaden."

I went to the living room and took out my notebook and started to continue drawing a wolf. Dixie peaked from behind my shoulder.

"I know you're there," I told her.

She came out and sat beside me.

"What's that?" Dixie looks at the drawing.

"It's a wolf. Don't you learn about animals?" I continued to draw.

"Yes, but it looks like a dog."

"Because wolves are relatives of dogs!" I told her.

She shrugged and left to get a lollipop. I sighed and looked at the picture. Jaden loves wolves, he always talks about them last time. Man, I miss him. Jaden's my twin brother, he's adopted by Janie and Michael. I wish I could call him, but Jocelyn wouldn't give me his number. I took out my phone, the wallpaper was a picture of me and Jaden. I sighed and closed my phone.

"Jade, it's Jocelyn. She wants to speak with you." Sue tells me.

I went to pick up the phone.

Me: Hello?

J: So, how's everything with Sue?

Then, I hung up. I didn't know how things were, they felt weird without Jaden. I wish he was here with me.

"What did Miss. J ask?" Dixie said, eating the lollipop.

"Don't care." I went back to the living room and sat down and continued to draw again.

"Don't you like my house?"

"No. I only came here to get out of that place for a bit." I told her.

"You're my sister now no matter what you think or say."

Man, that girl's annoying. But I like her, she's just like Jaden. Always trying to find a way to annoy me. Maybe it won't be that bad here. Maybe, I said maybe. Don't put it in the wrong way Ok?
