I woke up in the morning, Sue told us she canceled the Holiday Program because it was too dangerous. Freddy had told her what happened last night.
"Oh, Jade," Sue says. "What's wrong with you? Do you need to see the psychologist?"
"What?! NO, I'm fine." I say.
Freddy gives me an I-don't-think-so look. "Are you sure? You seemed pretty frightened last night."
"I'm fine, really."
"LIAR LIAR PANTS ON FIRE!" Dixie says.
"DIXIE!" Sue scolds.
"I think you should go for a check-up, Jade," Freddy tells me.
"Maybe it's just that one time. Maybe it won't happen again." I tell him.
"Fine, if you do get the same dream I'm gonna bring you to the psychologist," Sue said.
"OK."
But the next 3 nights, I had the same dream with Jayla, the thunderstorm and the earthquake. And every time, Freddy comes to see me. But, how is it possible to have the same nightmare every day?
So Sue took me to the psychology center. It was a big office with chairs and tables. There was a girl there, she had brown hair. I asked the psychologist who she is. The psychologist says she's Regan(Ri-gen) she can't talk.
The psychologist says she can hear us, but can't talk. So she uses hand language to communicate with people. I understand hand language because my dad was like Regan.
After the test, my results were not psychological, the psychologist says it may be part of my memory. My brain is bringing back the past and trying to allow me to remember who my real family is.
"So, what should she do to avoid getting nightmares?" Sue asked the psychologist.
"She has to try to remember who Jayla is, and maybe her nightmares will stop."
I mean, it made sense but how am I supposed to remember someone I don't even know? I never saw Jayla before. I try to remember but no luck. Freddy asked me where else I have seen her but in my dreams. But I told no. Maybe Jayla's an audit. You know in my drama she said's 18, so maybe she is out of town or something. But even if I find her, will she regconise me? I don't know if I can ever remember who Jayla is. My parents never mentioned. What if.....she's dead? Maybe that's why they didn't mention her. Or maybe she ran away? A lot of maybes are in my head right now.
Or maybe I do have a psychology problem and the psychologist just doesn't want to admit it. Maybe Sue doesn't want to admit it too. Maybe....ugh stop saying maybe!!!! Ok umm...what if I ask Jocelyn to see of she knows Jayla?Yup, gonna do that.
