------Saturday-------
I was woken up by Dixie and Freddy, shaking me trying to wake me up.
"JADEJADEJADE,WAKEUPWAKEUPWAKEUP!!" Dixie called me.
"OKOKOKOK." I said. "Stop shaking me."
"It's Saturday, It's Holiday Camp!" Freddy told me excitedly.
"Oh, yeah. How can I forget." I got up and shooed them out of the room.
I changed and went downstairs. We ate breakfast then Sue sent us to Holiday camp.
"Guys, I just checked the news and they said there's gonna be a HUGE storm coming at 6:45." Dixie said.
"But, it's 6:30 now." I turn to Sue. "Sue, maybe we should turn back."
"What?! So I woke up early for nothing?!" Freddy screams. "NNOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
"But maybe the news is wrong." Dixie says.
"What it's not?" I asked. "What if we face-time a huge storm and maybe die?"
"Maybe it won't be that huge?" Dixie shrugged.
"Guys, I think hear thunder..." Freddy looks outside. "OMG! I saw a flash of lightning. A HUGE FLASH!"
"DRIVVVEEEE!" I yelled to Sue.
She quickly drove away from where the lightning was coming from, the rain started to pour and lightning strike the street lights, some even hit cars and restaurants.
The rain kept on coming as Sue drove home, soon it was so hard to drive because the road was filled with rain water.
Dixie, held onto Freddy. One lightning was inches away from hitting us! At that moment, I felt as if we weren't going to make it home in time.
And soon after, my fears came true. The wind was strong when lightning stroke the side of the car.
The car flew backwards and fell on the roof. Broken glass scratched me face, dirt from the floor fell on me. Luckily my seat belt was on so I didn't fall, neither of us did.
We couldn't stay in the car anymore, because if lightning strikes again, we'd die. We got out of the car and ran towards the nearest restaurant. Then, I noticed Dixie wasn't here.
I started to run toward the car, wind blowing in my hair. "JADE!" I heard Sue call.
I almost reached the car before cracks on the ground divided me from Dixie and I tried to run back, but another crack had formed between Sue, Freddy and me. I
was stuck in the centre. I ran to the place where the cracks hadn't reached. But as soon as I jumped, I slipped and fell.
Earth, meet Jade. I fell on my face, but I had reached to the other side. My head was bleeding. I stood up and almost fell because of the strong vibrations of the earthquake.
The building and street lights crumbled, cars fell into the cracks of the earth. It was a disaster.
I stood there, frozen with fear. I didn't know where to go. Sue and Freddy were out of sight, I could see nobody but the lightning, cracks all around me.
What should I do? I fell into a crack, screaming but before I could go to my doom, hands grabbed me. I couldn't see who it was, but the person said something.
"Hold on! Stay with me!" A voice of girl yelled to me over the howling wind. I looked down, the cracks were leading to dark places of doom. I don't wanna die like that.
The girl pulled me up and led me to a restaurant and we hid under a table covered with dust and dirt. I put my hand above my head, protecting it in case anything happens.
The storm slowly began to simmer down, and the earthquake stopped. I looked outside, everything looked terrible.
"Aren't you going to say thank you?" The girl asked.
I looked at her, it was like........
looking in a mirror, like looking at Jaden but...a girl. She was a bit different, but she looked like my sister..
