Gradually, questions started increasing making it chaotic. Kongpob can see how Forth scrunched his nose in irritation and James covered his ears to protect his old ears from any damage.

Kongpob hit the bench hard with his left hand to make it a loud thud sound, making everyone silent. Kongpob spoke without using his microphone this time.

"Wow!! What a board meeting it is!! I guess you people already answered for what my father assigned you all as board members... for making it a pandemonium. Not even minding the presence of the new CEO. Is this the impression you want to create in front of him?

I get it that you people have questions... but after asking shouldn't you wait for my response instead of someone else adding up to the previous question?

This is the last time I'll be excusing everyone for this undignified behavior. Next time, be ready to face my wrath" Kongpob saw everyone bend down their heads ashamed and James thanking him silently for protecting his ears.

"Okay... so, I will answer the questions which I could hear and you can ask once I'm done." Taking deep breaths, he started

"Let me remind you guys, I am still the chairman as well as director of Suthiluck group. So, I don't need anyone's permission to appoint someone in any post.

Coming to the point of consulting people, I had a meeting with my legal team and also few confidants before implementing the decision. If you're still wondering why you people were not part of that, I leave it up to you to think over that"

You people just questioned his capability? I mean seriously? Do you even know him? Being the heir of the Rojnapath group, he started his career with a start-up on his own right after his graduation, and from that year, he bagged almost all the awards. Entrepreneur of the year, Pinnacle performer, the Businessman of the year. I will not be surprised if he gets one this year making it consequently three times in a row. And how many of you are even part of the Business council? I still remember you people worrying about the standards of the Business Council in few meetings.

Someone mentioned disrespect. What have you done just now by creating chaos in front of the Managing Director and CEO? Isn't that considered as disrespect?" The first person who questioned interrupted Kongpob with his question

"But he's not-"

"I'M NOT DONE YET" Kongpob shouted in a cold tone. Everything is going out of his control. How he wanted to hand over Once number one company to his P'Arthit and how these vultures are making it worse by showing their true colors. He thought at least these animals will give some time for both of them but...

Kongpob felt Arthit tugging his hand that is still in the other's grip. He didn't leave that hand fearing he might actually do something which he might regret later. With Arthit by his side, holding his hand, he feels grounded.

Kongpob looked at Arthit silently asking permission to speak. Kongpob got worried leaving this to Arthit as some might insult him. But Arthit assured him that he can trust him by slowly blinking his eyes and squeezing the other's hand. Before starting, Arthit is about to unclasp, but Kongpob's didn't allow, so, Arthit again clasped his hand.

James witnessed the silent interaction between the two and felt happy that he saw the difference in the couple's behavior. By the time of their wedding, Kongpob was mechanically there but now, he can guarantee that the changed behavior of Kongpob is because of Arthit. Either it may be the smile or the sarcastic tone or the fierce behavior which they just witnessed.

Taking a deep breath just like Kongpob did before, Arthit switched on the microphone in front of him and started speaking.

"I know all of you have doubts and queries about me being CEO. Me along with Kong- Mr. Suthiluck will clarify everything. I promise you all that not a single person will go out of this meeting room with their queries unanswered" By now, Arthit clearly observed everyone. Who were ballistic about the position, who was just neutral, and who were just raising questions to show support to the other... obsequious people!!
