Chapter 64

"Mae, where's Kong?" Arthit asked his mother who came to send off his son on his next business trip. Seeing off her husband & Son is the routine that Nina does every time they go out. It may be for office, school or for any trip. She accompanies them till they get into a car and waits till the car goes out of their gate.

"He went to the other house" Nina replied referring to Arthit & Kongpob's house. Arthit is confused as to why he went there as most of the time it's one of the servants who do that if Kongpob/Arthit need anything from there. This time, he's more concerned about Kongpob's health. Beam specifically told to minimize the sun exposure on Kongpob for time being.

"Don't worry. P'Manee went along with him. He'll be back in any moment" Nina replied reading her son's worry. Exactly on time, they heard P'Manee calling Kongpob who's running before her

"Nong... wait!! you can't run like that" She keeps on repeating but Kongpob is paying no heed and running as if some dogs are chasing him. Arthit rushed towards Kongpob and met him halfway who collapsed in his arms.

"Kong!! I told you to not go out and on top of that, you're running?" Kongpob is huffing and puffing, trying to catch his breath. He finally understood why everyone stopped him from tiring him out.

Arthit picked him up in a bridal style and made him sit inside the car seat, just to give the other some time. He also instructed one of the servants to get some water. 

After drinking some water and able to normalize his breathing, he looked up to see three people throwing daggers at him. He cutely apologized showing his puppy eyes and everyone melted. He handed over a file to Arthit who looked at the other questioningly.

"Give this to Mr. Chen before you start the meeting. Tell him it's from me."

"What is this?" Kongpob didn't reply and pulled his lips in a thin line. Arthit and Nina exchanged glances and skipped this topic.

"Why were you running?" Nina asked angrily and Kongpob gulped.

"I thought P'Arthit will... leave"

"Where will I go without seeing you?" Arthit whispered slowly and Nina and Manee understood it's their turn to leave the couple. They excused themselves but Manee waited for Kongpob at a safe distance, just in case Kongpob needs any help.

Arthit bent a little and kissed the other on his forehead just like how he does every day but today he stayed there a bit longer than usual, probably drawing strength from his husband.

Arthit along with May are in a waiting lounge of Chen's holiday home. He expected a huge mansion just like how it's explained in the fairy tales but it's not that grand, as well as not a simple one. Instead of an office, Mr. Chen asked them to come to their home, claiming that it's his off day. It's already been 20 minutes but no call came from the businessman. In a timely manner, drinks and snacks are being served but Arthit politely rejecting everyone.

His phone pinged with Kongpob's message and his smile brightened. They both started to chat unknown to him, Mr. Chen is observing every single movement of Arthit. Seeing the other smile, Mr. Chen also smiled.

It's two hours difference between Thailand and South Korea. So, the couple can still chat normally with just casual things, no lovey-dovey and flirting.

May on the other end is completely unbothered and continued to read business magazines one by one, even though she's just looking for pictures and flipping over the pages.

After another 10 minutes, Arthit is being called to the study room which can be considered as neither huge nor small. It's exactly how much is required with classical French architecture which also gives the homey feeling. The best part is there's not even a single piece that is kept for show-off.
