Y/n awoke silently the next day, and almost forgot she'd fallen asleep with Alcina. But she noticed that Alcina was awake already, and she seemed to be playing with Y/n's hair, putting it in a braid whilst swirling strands of hair around her fingers. She seemed slightly sad, but she was able to hide it as she spotted Y/n looking up at her.

"Oh, why good morning my darling. I hope you don't mind your new hairstyle, sweetheart," Alcina spoke calmly. Yet again she seemed more kind than before.

"Alcina, why are you sad?" Y/n spoke in reply.

"Y/n, It's ok, I'm not sad. I'm totally fine, don't worry about me,"

"Please, Alcina, I can tell you're upset. What's wrong?"

"It's just... I think today is day 5 of our deal, and... I just don't know how to feel,"

"Day 5? Already? Oh god... I need t-to go for a second, excuse m-me..."

Y/n started to panic as she got up from the couch. She quickly kissed Alcina on the cheek and left the room. The realisation of the deal started to kick in, and Y/n finally decided to make her final decision. She just wanted to keep it a secret for until it was time for her to go...

An hour later, and Y/n crept into the kitchen, making sure no-one heard her. She didn't want to alarm the others however. Just as she thought she was safe though, Bela appeared in the kitchen with a human arm in her clutches, bleeding onto the tiled floor.

"Oh, hello Mother Y/n, what you doing here?" Bela smiled.

"Oh, Bela, h-hi! I'm j-just getting a drink... and y-y-you?" Y/n stuttered, staring at the arm.

"Ah, I'm just here to pour some excess blood from this arm into a bag, to drink later,"

"Oh, ok, go ahead..."

Bela went past Y/n and grabbed a bag from the counter. Y/n's decision seemed harder to concentrate on when her 'daughters' happiness was involved. She decided to leave the kitchen, and Bela seemed to not notice her disappearance. Y/n just had to bear a few more hours until she could finally let out her true feelings.

Two hours went by like a flashing light, and Y/n was pacing around Lady Dimitrescu's room, fidgeting with her lipstick and other objects that laid on her dressing table. The room was still, quiet, and it most certainly seemed like it was frozen in time. Maybe it was the feeling of fear and suspense that rested upon Y/n's shoulders...
