It was noon, and the midday sun was glaring through the windows of the manor's library. The different sizes and colours of the books on the high shelves were highlighted in the golden glow. Y/n sat quietly in the corner of the room, on a red velvet chair, reading 'Pride and Prejudice', which just so happened to be her favourite book as a child. The atmosphere was strangely calm, especially after the crazy week she'd had. As an added bonus, Y/n was also allowed to go outside (since before then it wasn't safe), but she chose to stay inside. She just felt more comfortable protected by the walls of the manor.
Y/n heard the library's door open, but she didn't know who entered. If the bookshelves weren't taller than Alcina, then she would probably know.
"Y/n, are you in here?" Alcina's voice spoke. Y/n replied with a simple 'yes', and soon after, saw Alcina poke her head around the bookshelf next to Y/n. She seemed slightly curious, but Y/n didn't question anything.
"Y/n, what are you doing?" Alcina smiled, walking over to Y/n slowly.
"I'm reading... what about you?" Y/n replied, confused.
"Oh, I'm just bored, there's not much to do in this place anymore,"
Alcina got close to Y/n's face, and smiled a bit more. She only acted like that when she wanted something.
"Alcina, what are you doing?"
"Like I said, I'm bored,"
Alcina then pulled Y/n into a kiss, which quickly became a french kiss. Y/n hadn't felt anything like that in a while, but she wasn't afraid to admit she liked it. Alcina's hands drifted down to Y/n's waist as the kiss heightened, but they paused as they heard the library's door open. They quickly drew apart as they spotted Daniela entering the room. The two of them tried to act natural as Daniela found them.
"Mother, where are the others?" Daniela spoke calmly, looking at Alcina, who was leaning against the wall casually.
"Um... I d-don't know darling, maybe c-check upstairs," Alcina replied.
"Ok, see you soon,"
Daniela quickly left the room, and Alcina decided to leave as well.
"We'll carry on with that at a later date, Y/n," Alcina smiled as she left the library.
Y/n carried on reading her book, but her actions were slightly shaken as she replayed what happened in her mind...
