"Hey, Y/n, are you in there?"
Y/n had been contemplating things in Lady Dimitrescu's room, and jumped when she heard a voice at the door. She replied with a simple 'yeah', and saw Alcina enter the room, bending down to fit through the doorway. She seemed more sad than before.
"Oh, Alcina, hello. Sorry I'm in your room, I was just-" Y/n spoke.
"Y/n, have you... made your decision yet?..." Alcina interrupted in an emotionless manner. Y/n seemed surprised.
"Well... yeah, I have. I guess there's no way of not telling you now,"
"Ok... whenever you're ready, my darling,"
It broke Y/n's heart that Alcina was depressed and expecting the worst. But she had to get the message out, no matter what...
"Alcina, I want to start with off with all the feelings I've felt during my stay here. At first I felt frightened, anxious, even a bit angry, but I soon learnt to keep calm and relaxed here. Your daughters seemed chaotic when I first spoke to them, but now I've grown a bond with them, almost like a motherly bond. And you, Alcina... I adore you. Your looks are stunning, your personality is.. most certainly unique, and the way you surprise me with each day is amazing. Just simply amazing. But what I'm trying to say is... that I want to stay here..."
Alcina was close to tears when Y/n finished her 'speech'.
"You... you want to stay here? Are you... certain?"
"I want to stay here, with you and your daughters... or, more or less, our daughters..."
"Y/n... that almost seems like a marriage proposal..."
"It does, yeah,"
Suddenly, Alcina hugged Y/n tightly, which she rarely did. Y/n finally felt accepted.
"Y/n, I love you," Alcina smiled, coming away from the hug.
"I love you too, Alcina,"
"So, does that mean you'll become a part of House Dimitrescu?"
"I think so... I guess I'll become Y/n Dimitrescu then!"
"I'd adore that..."
Alcina and Y/n decided to sit down on the bed nearby, and looked into each other's eyes. And for once, Y/n could see a peaceful future in her mind, in the eyes of Lady Dimitrescu...
