"Dragons," Krinos still had his hand on his forehead as he was annoyed at how incompetent the British ministry was. "Why dragons? That is all I need to know."
"I think the answer is a very simple one," Melody said. "The people of this country are idiots that should all be sent to Arkham Asylum."
"What did Gotham ever do to us that they deserve the punishment of have such idiotic people in their city," T'challa raised an eyebrow.
"I wouldn't even make the Joker suffer by being in their presence," Abby crossed her arms. "And he is as insane and murderous as they come, so that says something about how bad this country is."
"We should be insulted by this," Fred said.
"But we find ourselves agreeing with you guys," George says.
"It's not like they're wrong, anyway," Cedric leaned back in his chair. "Need I remind you guys that it was Fudge that had those dementors stationed at Hogwarts last year."
"And the year before that when he sent Hagrid to Azkaban because 'the ministry needed to be seen doing something," Neville rolled his eyes.
"People that call me crazy have obviously never met anyone from the ministry before," Luna stated in her usual dreamy tone.
"Well, nobody can accuse you of being sane, Luna, but sanity is for the boring," Krinos tells her. "Just look at Fred and George, they are the most interesting people in Gryffindor Tower and they are as far from sane as you can get."
"Love you too, Krinos," the twins wave at the nature mage from their seats.
Krinos playfully rolled his eyes as Luna giggled at their antics.
"I am just glad that the first task is over and done with," Atem was resting on one of the couches. "I sometimes forget how summoning monsters as quickly as I did is exhausting for my mystical core."
"And I will certainly not be changing into a fireball again anytime soon," Viktor was also very tired.
"Aw, poor baby," T'challa teased the Bulgarian as he patted his head in a teasing way.
"I have enough energy to still burn you, so watch it, T'challa," Viktor did not have the energy to even sound threatening at all.
"Well, at least Harry is getting some rest," Cedric pointed out.
The said animal mage was currently still sleeping off his magical exhaustion on the couch between his brother and sister. He was definitely adorable as the spirit of a labrador dog came out of his amulet as he was sleeping. He was taking a dog nap instead of a cat nap. Something Fred and George both thought was very funny. Especially since it was known that Harry liked to channel jungle cats when he was taking naps.
"It's been hours, how is he not awake, yet," Hawk wondered.
"He's never channeled a magical creature spirit before," Melody says. "It must be exhausting for his magical core to do such a powerful creature on his very first creature channeling."
"Hestia, do you think..." Krinos did not even have to finish the question.
"Sorry, but magical exhaustion can not be healed," Hestia said. "I can heal injuries, illness, and even give a boost of physical energy. But magical energy must be restored naturally or there is a risk that your magical core could crack from the sudden rush of magic energy."
"And what happens if our core cracks," Cedric did not think he would like the answer.
"Then your magic would slowly drain until there is no magic left," Hestia explained. "You would basically be turned mortal, mundane even."
