The entirety of the night Bianca tossed and turned in her sleep. Kicking the comforter off to cool herself off. Pulling it back onto her body when she would get cold again. On her right side the mattress poked into her shoulder. On her left, she sank too deep. She flipped her pillow to the other side and tried laying on her back.
After finally getting comfortable, she drifted into a light sleep. Not an hour later she woke up to the sound of Draco's alarm going off. Bianca groaned loudly and covered her ears with her pillow.
"Turn that off!" She whined. Draco chuckled and turned it off, then with heavy footsteps went to get ready. Bianca dozed off immediately and when her husband walked back into the room, this time dressed and ready for work, just minutes later he smiled and looked down at his sleeping wife. Since she looked so peaceful, Draco didn't bother to wake her up. He figured her fever had broken in the night since her face had the soft shine of sweat.
Around noon Bianca woke up. She felt like her body was burning up. Faintly she heard the sound that had woken her up. A woman's voice calling her name that echoed through the manor because of it's high ceilings. She recognized the voice as Narcissa's and she wondered what she was doing here at such an odd time.
She tried to push herself up onto her elbow's but failed and collapsed onto her back again. She heard a loud ringing in her ears and her brain felt like it was stuffed full of wet cotton when she lifted her head.
"Bianca, are you in here deary?" The foggy voice called from right outside the doors to the master bedroom. Along with the calling came four sharp knocks to the ornate doors. Bianca groaned loudly and tried to push herself up all while ignoring the heavy pounding in her head.
"Darling, Draco sent me to check on you. He said you hadn't been feeling great." Narcissa said from the other side of the doors as Bianca struggled to trudge her way across the carpeted room.
"I'm fine I just had a hard time sleeping last night." She paused only a few steps from the doors to cough. Her breathing turned ragged as she made the last few steps and started to tug on the heavy doors.
Narcissa pushed on the doors when she saw them swing open.
"Oh dear, Bianca you look horrible." She said, her icy blue eyes sweeping over Bianca's disheveled hair, the dark circles under her eyes, and the sweat dripping down her neck.
"I'm really quite fine. I'm sorry Draco had to bother your day to come..." Her eyes went foggy and black spots clouded her vision. "To come check on-"
