Clara smiled as today they were meeting Bella. Edward wanted them to go hunting before they officially met Bella. Clara was just finishing with her deer when Edward showed up. Edward walked over to her and wrapped his arms around her making her smile. She dropped the deer and looked at him. "Are you ready to meet Bella?"

"Not really." He says. "But we have no other choice."

Clara pushed Edward against the tree as she looked at him. "We will not ruin what is happening for Alexis." She tells him.

"Okay." He says as he went to kiss her making her move away. "Tease."

Alice and Jasper smiled as Edward and Clara arrived. Bella saw them and noticed how Edward stayed close to his mate. "Hello, Bella. It's great to finally meet you." She says.

"You too."

Alexis glared at Edward causing Clara to glare at her. "He is being on his best behavior. Right, Edward." He nodded not saying a word. "Now we are going to head upstairs so he can say whatever is on that mind of his."

They nodded as they watch Clara and Edward leave the room. Alexis rolled her eyes as she was not too happy with the way Edward glared at Bella. Clara turned around and looked at him. "I'm sorry." He tells her. "I just don't think she should have found out."

Clara touched his cheek smiling. "Edward, if I was human, would you treat me the way you are Bella because I learnt the truth?" She asked as he shook his head no. "Alexis has this all under control. Let's just see how this goes and if it ends in a desire, then you can say I told you so, but for now, behave."

Edward nodded as he kissed her head. 'What would I do without you?"

"Be a grumpy vampire."

Edward chuckled as he kissed her. "I love you." He tells her as she lead him upstairs.

Clara smiled as Edward laid in her lap as she played with his hair. Bella and Alexis walked in making Clara look up. "Hello." She says. "Is there something you need?"

"Bella wanted to know what your gift is."

"Oh." She says as she looked at Edward who was looking up at her. "I can see the future and we are thinking there is another gift, but we don't know when it will appear." Clara looked down at Edward. "This one here likes to read minds, besides mine. The only way he can is if I have a vision. Since I try to block him out."

"I like reading your mind though."

Clara smiled as she kissed his head. "Wow." Bella says. "Were you two always like this?"

"No." They replied.

"I made the mistake of ignoring our bond and I almost lost her." Edward says as he looked up at Clara. "This girl is my world and I'm glad that I decided to face my fears."

Bella nodded as she walked out with Alexis. Clara looked at him smiling. "You really mean that."

"Every word." He says.

Clara smiled as she leaned in and kissed him. She was so glad that they are together now and not being afraid to tell one another something.

Alice poked her head in to see the two talking and knew that Edward was going to renew their vows. She just wonders when.
