When Clara announced that there was a storm coming, the Cullens were excited. Alexis had left to get Bella since she invited her and some of them weren't to happy. Rosalie and Jasper, but for two totally different reasons. Edward walked over to his mate and kissed her head causing her to look at him. "Hi."

"Are you ready?"

"Yes and the nomads, I don't know just yet." She tells him. "I saw them leaving, but we know how baseball goes for us."

"True, but Alexis can keep her mate safe." Edward tells her as he wrapped his arms around her. "I have to keep you safe."

Clara smiled as she rested her head on his chest. Emmett walked in and whistled. "Let's go."

The two shared a look before walking out of their room to spend some family time with Bella their also.

At their field, the Cullens were practicing as Clara stood with Rosalie talking about hunting or shopping for something that doesn't include Alice since she likes shopping sprees. Edward looked at Clara and smiled till they heard the Jeep. Clara looked at Alice and nodded. "It's time." Alice said as Bella was left with Esme.

Clara was the first up to bat. Bella watched as Clara swung the bat as soon as the ball collided with the bat. Edward watched the ball closely as it went over their head. Edward grabbed the ball and ran back to the field to get his mate out. Clara smiled and laughed as Edward tackled her. "You're out, baby."

"Hmm... Maybe so, but.." She whispered something in his ears as she pushed him off her and back to the others.

"Tease."

"Proud of it." Clara tells him.

Edward laughed as he walked back to his spot in the field. Clara smiled as she watched the rest of the game, but she froze as her vision clouded over. Rosalie stood in front of her best friend as Jasper looked at her. "Clara?"

Clara looked up at them. "We're screwed." She tells them as she looked at the others. "Stop!"

Everyone else stopped and ran in. Edward grabbed Clara as she looked at him. They waited for their uninvited guest to come and listened to Alexis fuss over Bella. "Alexis, there is no point in doing that. It's not going to help."

"Will you shut up!" Alexis said as Edward glared.

"Yell at my mate again and you will be lonely for the rest of your damn life." Edward said making Clara grab his arm. He looked at her as she shook her head.

They looked to see three sets of red eyes. Clara wasn't worried about them, she looked at Edward as he held her tight. He was going to keep her safe. Clara didn't listen to them discussing Laurent, James and Victoria to play with them. Alexis took this chance in going back to Bella's when the wind blew. "Oh no." Clara mumbled.

"You brought a snack." James tells them causing the Cullens to get in front off Bella.

"I see the game is over."

Clara watched the three leave causing her to look at Edward. "The hunt is on."
