"I was fucking joking!" I say as Loren grabs duct tape.

3 days earlier...

"Let me in." Charli says from outside.

"Let me in please." Charli says.

I open the door and Charli hugs me.

"I'm sorry for accusing you of cheating, you obviously aren't. I guess I just for caught up in the moment." Charli says.

"I'm sorry for saying what I did." I say.

"Can you take me back and forget this every happened?" Charli asks.

"I guess so." I say.

Charli smiles and I kiss her.

"Hey, sorry I'm late." I say.

"You're actually early. The bridal party isn't even here yet." Loren says.

"Oh." I say.

"We can find something to do until they get here." Loren says getting up.

"Okay." I say.

"I'm really nervous." Loren says.

"Do you wanna practice?" I ask.

"Yeah." Loren says with a smile.

I smile and we walk to the area together.

"It's funny, I thought we would be practicing the dance for our wedding." I say.

She laughs and I smile. She wraps her arms around my neck and I put my hands on her waist.

"I don't think I can do this today." Loren says.

"What?" I ask.

"Get married." She says.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

"Lavender wants me to be with you and I don't want her to hate me." She says as tears fill her eyes.

"She's so young and she doesn't understand it." She says.

"I don't even know if I love him." She whispers.

"Loren, I get it if you don't love him. Lavender isn't an excuse. It's a part of life, she'll have to deal with it." I whisper.

"It's not like I'll no longer be in her life. My birth parents got divorced and I had the perfect relationship with both of them." I whisper.

"If you don't love him, you shouldn't get married to him. We can leave right now without telling anyone whatsoever." I say.

"His stuff is kinda in my house." She says.

"That doesn't mean anything. We'll put it by the side of the road with a sign that says, everything must go." I say.

She giggles and I smile.

"What if I'm still hung up on my ex... meaning you?" She asks.

"Don't take this the wrong way, but when I look at you, I don't see someone I could spend the rest of my life with. I see my ex-girlfriend that I had a good relationship with." I say.

"When I look at Charli, I see someone I could spend the rest of my life with. If it wasn't her, it's be you. I always got you if you need anything, but I don't want to get back together." I say.

"I get it. Probably best." She says with a smile.

I smile and hug her.

"Let's get out of here." She whispers.
