It's pretty simple,
that still voice is the answer. Don't harden your heart when there's counsel, lest you fall into a shameful trap for that's how the devil likes to see you, ruined and lost in the haze.
Notice God knows your sins but calls you by your name but the devil knows your name yet calls you by you sins.
