Yoon Ji swung her arm backwards, picking up the momentum to stab Yn with the crystal. Others screamed in protest; It did no good but to encourage her more. With force, she pushed the weapon cutting through the air towards Yn's chest when, abruptly, a man screamed "stop" whilst panting and sweating due to intense physical activity.
The crystal rested an inch apart Yn's trembling body.
The robed man was gasping for air while his body was shaking. He bent his knees and groped them with his hands. He spoke, "The portal— It's is working, madam!"
Yoon Ji: Tch. You are so bloody Lucky, Yn. Come on, scram!
The crazy woman shouted and dragged her back to the prison, like a toy. Taehyung stood frozen, looking at her leaving. The moment she got out of sight, he fell on his knees, gasping for air. His heart banging inside his chest as if it were figuring out routes of escape. Jimin held his shoulders in support and tried to pull him out of his trance. The burning of his skin failed to bother him anymore. His head was stuck on what he saw minutes ago.
Taehyung: She would've...died. I couldn't have done anything to protect her. Jimin, I... I failed her, I failed myself.
He stammered. He was shaken as his body was stiff as rock. His eyes reflected pain and guilt. His friends looked at him in grave concern as Jimin side-hugged him. They all were too exhausted, the poisonous smoke of vervain left them hindered. Contemplating escape routes, an idea struck his mind and so he tried.
Taehyung: Jimin, let me feed on you. He whispered
Jimin: What?! O-okay, go ahead.
Taehyund spared no time and bit onto Jimin's wrist. Drinking the oozing ruby liquid, he regained a part of his energy back but, that wasn't enough. He drank each of the guys' blood until he fully recovered. However, he still wasn't on his full potential yet, enough to escape out of the rim of fire.
Fixing his eyes on the girl standing in front of him, he tried psychokinesis. Suddenly, the ring expanded out. Lines appeared on Yoon-ha's forehead, right away. The lad smirked in satisfaction. She tried to resist Taehyung from entering inside her head but failed. He immediately vanquished the troubling obstacle out of his way.
Boys sprinted, sucked the blood to recover and knocked out all the witches around Yoon-ha.
Taehyung had successfully entered inside her brain. She tried to cast different spells but her body betrayed her. He now had full control over her.
She was sitting on her knees. Her face showed the terror she felt. She knew her life was now entirely dependent on the king's mercy.
Reading her mind, he learnt about their plan. He was fuming. He pulled the listless girl up, pulling on her hair, with him and rushed to reach Yn. Others went inside the castle to capture the minion witches.
Whoever tried to stop the raging man, dealt with his wild powers and his hunger for blood. He was dead serious when he said he won't show any mercy. And he didn't. He couldn't care less for the lives of these lowly creatures who tried to take his everything away from him.
It took him no time to catch up to the madwoman and caught her off guard. He gripped onto her throat, his nails digging into her skin and pinned her on the wall. His other hand grasped onto Yn's firmly, pulling her behind him.
On the other side, The only thought running into Jin's head was her wife. He wanted to hold her in his arms more than anything. Recovered from drinking blood from the witches they "met on their way", they started evacuating the palace, freeing the guests and sending them out. Jin went straight to the room where his family was stuck.
Jin rushed and swept all the magic users in a flash. They never saw it coming, it was too sudden for human eyes. Reaching out to Jisoo, he engulfed her in his embrace tightly. 'Thank God, you're okay!' he spoke into her ears while panting and caressing her head. The human parents were numb after witnessing the pool of blood and corpses in front of them. Rose held onto Yugyeom tightly, she felt sick looking at the red fluid flooding in the land beneath her.
The newly wedded couple's clothes were ruined by the dark stains, soaking into the white clothes. But they couldn't care less about it. What mattered was that they were engulfed in each other's warmth. Safe. The room was utterly silent.
The tension of the silence broke when Jisoo's parents asked for an explanation. Jin bowed in front of them, pleading forgiveness. He stood straight and informed them about all the past happenings. They were taken aback. Kyung Hee stood frozen in distress. Jong Suk tapped his shoulder and apologised to him for keeping the secret. The older man looked at the guilty boy, sighed, and caressed his head, and whispered back, 'I understand...'
Kyung Hee: But where are she and Taehyung? he asked in concern
Boys looked at each other and whispered some cursing ready to sprint away when Seo Jung stopped them. He asked them to take the girls and their parents out of the palace and then go search for the two. Girls protested to stay but were forced by their parents to get out of there with them. With that, Seo Jung, Min-Hee Kyung Hee and J.Suk rushed to and fro, looking for the two whereas Jungkook and Yugyeom went to find Baekhyun.
Choked, Yoon-Ji gasped desperately for air while her neck bled due to the embedded nails. She went pale, blood rushing up to her face. Focusing on the wicked woman, he forgot about Yoon-ha for the moment. Immediately, Yoon-ha used telekinesis and got hold of the lethal weapon; The Olympian crystal.
The crystal once again found itself in position, ready to thrust inside warm flesh. Mixing in the background, Yoon-Ha took advantage of the situation. She was shivering uncontrollably, sweat forming over her skin, rapidly. 'I made it clear long ago, Taehyung. If I can't have you, then no one can. I won't let it happen, if even if I have to kill your love and become of nemesis, forever.' She looked at him with blurred eyes and attacked...
