'Drowning is not scary but, it is the thoughts of the consequences of being drowned that is horrifying.'

Fear was what Yn felt when she was pushed inside the lake, filled with nerve-nubbing cold water and terrible magic. Fear of the future was what made her restless.

Even though she could breathe underwater, the unbearable pain was inflicted by the magical water that worsened her state. Her brain was being tortured by the fragments of memories which flashed into her mind. It was too much for her to take in. However, that wasn't all. Remembering her past was what broke her down. The overwhelming emotions were what truly drowning her.

The icy water no longer bothered her. Moreover, it was the sole matter which eased her trembling body.

Without opening her eyes, she looked into her former life. From her first breath to her last, she saw everything. She relived her life within a small amount of time. With her memories, she had answers to all her questions. For she knew,
how it all began.

She saw the day she met Lily while she saved her from those false allegations thrown at her by the people. She remembered how within a small amount of time, they became a family.

"Thank you much for taking me in uncle."
"Come on, Lily! For the n-th time, stop thanking me, dear. You are just like my daughter to me. You are welcome to stay here as long as you want."

"Hey! Get your butt back here before I chop off your hair, Yn." Lily shouted running out of her room into the lobby.
"Nope. Never! Hope you loved my return gift for giving me worms, make sure you name that frog!" Yn replied, escaping away.

"Please don't cry, Lily dear. Your sister is in a better place now. She does not have to live in such a cruel world anymore. She is finally resting soundly in god's embrace. And you are not alone, honey. We are your family, right Yn?" Kyung Hee spoke while caressing Lily's head.

"Of course, dad. Without a doubt." Yn answered.

She remembered how possessive Lily was of her. How Lily always prioritised Yn over herself.

"Who do you think you are? How dare you badmouth my sister?" Lily roared in fury at the two ladies in front of her.

"It's okay, Lily. These women don't bother me." Yn replied, trying to convince her and stopping her from burning the other two's hair down.

"Oh my god! How can you be so careless? Your hair looks like a mop. Move, let me take care of this nest" Lily gasped in terror.

"I ain't keeping any remedy on my hair, Lily. They are messy." Yn sighed, closing her wardrobe with her clothes of the day in hand. She denied as if she could. Lily rolled her eyes and dragged her to her room.

She also remembered the day when she was officially awarded and honoured by the king for saving his kingdom from famine during the war.
