All the lads had come to a stop, as they look at the witch expectantly. Even the workers were staring at her. She had barged inside the hall with such power, that everyone unconsciously looked over her.
Coming forward, they stood before her, waiting for her to catch her breath and resume speaking again.
Regina: Your highness! *pants* The diary *huffs* It's not finished! You haven't read all the logs here.
Baekhyun: What do you mean, I have checked each and every page of the entire journal, I read each and every long several times.
Regina: The last pages of the diary were stuck together by sealing magic. It took me three days to undo the spell. It was extremely secured. The last log was written on the ending page which has some work specified, your majesty
Taking the diary from Regina's hands, Taehyung opened the last written entry and read. Others peeped over his shoulders into the page. It instructed to pull the jewel out of the locket and pour her preserved blood over the sheet.
Even before Taehyung could ask for the locket, Baekhyun pulled the accessory out of the inner pocket of his jacket and handed it over to him.
Taehyung did exactly what Lily told them to do. Putting the leather covered book on the coffee table kept in the hall, the stale blood was poured over the brownish handmade sheet.
Just as the entire vile was emptied, blood flowed like an ink on the entire page. Im no time, a map was created and presented before them. It was no Clueless map but the one which showed the passage of the hidden vault in the Royal palace.
Without any delay, they scrammed through the hallways inside the palace, following the map mindlessly. On their way to the end of their destination they informed the kims, YN's father and the girls about their find. Taehyung was the one who informed kyung Hee while Namjoon informed his parents.
In a matter of minutes they were Standing behind an enormous painting that covered a part of the wall from head to toe just like many other paintings all over the palace. There was nothing distinguishing or suspicious about the painting which unfolded a scenery of a forest. But wait......of course, there was 'nothing' suspicious about the forest which looked s similar to the one where Taehyung and YN met for the first time.
He asked the others to help him remove the frame off the wall but it didn't budge. They knew for sure that the vault is behind the frame. So instead of taking off the article, they started looking for some kind of lever or switch that would trigger the lock of the hidden room.
Half an hour had passes and yet they were unable to find the desired switch. The king growled in frustration, breaking the vase that was kept near the wall. The porcelain vase was shattered into thousands of pieces, the voice of the smash resonating in the entire castle.
The guys looked at him and said nothing. Even their parents who had arrived earlier kept quite. They knew, he needed to release his emotions. The latter, gripped his hair in frustration, looking at the mess he created.
He was looking around when something caught his eye. At the bottom of the wall, which was earlier hooded by the vase, had a peice of white wall paper coming off.
However, no wall paper was used in any other place. Squatting down, he ripped off the wallpaper just to see a hole on the wall. A mettle ring was attached to what looked like an iron chain peeking from the inside of the hole.
