Draken's pov

Time flew by fast and school had already finished
I enjoyed spending every moment with Mikey
He's just overall adorable

I was then snapped out of my thoughts when Mikey said "soo Kenchin, about the group project. When will we be doing it?" He tilted his head towards the side like a small puppy.

God, why does he have to be so cute all the damn time
"Well we could go to that cafe I was talking about earlier, since the school closes pretty early" I replied calmly .

"Sure! I'm really craving for something sweet right now," he beamed with a bright smile.
We then strolled along the sidewalk towards the small Japanese style cafe.

When we finally got there, we sat down in a small booth together

Mikeys pov

The cafe was real cozy and warm.
I really like this place!

We both ordered some snacks and a drink to go along with it from the menu
then we started working on our assignment

It was pretty easy.
We just copied and pasted a few articles here and there changed a few words and done!

"I think we did a pretty good job, don't cha think?" I declared
"Of course. I think so too," He chuckled while looking at me

Ah, he looks really handsome like that.
I could feel my heart beating faster. What is this weird feeling.

I might be sick
I hope kenchin doesn't notice
Or else he'll get worried and I don't want to worry my new best friend!

I was about to think of an excuse when the same waiter that took our orders interrupted us "Here is your food. Oh and unfortunately we only have one serving of soybean fried bread left, would you like to change it to anything else?" He said apologetically

"No that's okay we'll just have this" Kenchin replied softly
"of course. Enjoy your meal" The waiter said as he placed the tray of food right in front of kenchin and left

Kenchin then slided my drink and the plate of pastries towards me
"Here you can have it. I've had it many times before" he smiled
"Really? Thank you so much" I thanked him

After awhile of chatting and eating we were done
I was about to walk over to the counter to pay but kenchin beat me to it

"Ah I was gonna pay" I pouted
"Well it would be rude to ask someone out and let them pay. Plus it's your first day here, consider this a welcoming gift" he smiled kindly

"But I clearly ordered more expensive stuff. And you gave me the last piece of the soybean bread too!" I protested back

"Hmm, well there is one way I could think of so that you can pay me back" He suggested
I then quickly replied "Of course! do you want me to buy you anything?"

"Nah that would be unnecessary. Just give me your number and we're even" kenchin smirked to himself
"Huh? Fine. But next time I'll be the one paying" I boasted

"So there'll be a next time?" He teased me chuckling a bit
"Of course! We're best friends aren't we?" I teased back

We talked and laughed together a bit more until it was dark
Then we said our good buys and went our separate ways home
