Hiii!

So ehm- I don't even know why I write this anymore. I have no readers and the only reason why I'm writing this book is for myself and to get some kind of outflow of my anxiety.

But still, thank you- that one person that actually reads it.

Enjoy- P

Evan's POV

"Food's ready, Evan!" My mother called out from downstairs as I sat in my bed reading in peace. I was still furious from the argument between me and Valencia. I don't understand what I did wrong and why we can't just be together. Yes, okay- yes I do understand.

"Coming. Mama" I sighed as I exited my room and shifted my steps downstairs. I love the dinners me and my family have. No talk about work. No business. Just dinner. Me, Mama, Papa and my sister- Carmen.

My mother, Lili, is the best. I love her. I couldn't have asked for a better mother to me and Carmen. She is pure love all through.

My dad, Alfonso, is also a great papa. I don't feel the same love for him as I feel for mama. They are so different. But I do love him.
Sure- they do have huge expectations for my future and school work but they are not abusive and angry.

Apart from our business, we are a normal Spanish family.

I walked into the kitchen, letting my nose fill with the scent of Mamas pasta pesto and a grin took place on my lips.

"Smells amazing, Mama" I sighed with a smile before kissing her cheek and sitting down at the table.
Nothing is better than Mamas pasta.

"How did the exam go, hijo?" Papa asked from the other side of the table while eating of the food on his plate.

I was really proud of myself, I got an A on the exam. All thanks to her...

"It went well, I got an A" I said with food in my mouth with a slight smile.

"An A?!" My sister called out from beside me with a shocking look. Why is she so surprised? Does she have so low expectations of me?

"Wow, do you have so low expectations of me?" I raised my brows and all of them slightly nodded.

"Yes- yes I got an a" I sighed but was interrupted by a knock on the door. Who comes here this time? It's dark outside.

"Do we have a meeting today?" I asked but all of them shook their heads.

"Huh- I'll get it" I raised from my chair and walked out of the kitchen towards the entre door.

I unlocked it and took a hold of the handle on the big wooden door. I'm so confused.
Must be some confused kid selling cookies or some shit.

I opened the door slowly and shifted my eyes to the outside that was foggy with the amount of rain that was poring down.

I then shifted my eyes slightly down to be met by a tiny frame shaking soaked in water.

Valencia

My heart dropped at the sight in front of me. A bruised, soaking wet, shaking, scared, girl.
