Chapter 7

Author's pov

Some days had passed from the day that it was announced that there was going to be a ball. A 6th year Gryffindor had already asked Marlene and Lily had already been asked from two different boys.

Helena woke up before anyone else in her dorm. She went for a bath and then she wore her robes. When she went down, she saw Remus revising for an Ancient Runes test he had today.

"How did you manage to get up so early?" Joked Remus as he closed his book
"I don't know, I just woke up by myself about 45 minutes ago." Answeared Helena
"Weird... Ms. Petrova never wakes up before 7..." laughed Remus and so did she. Some minutes later, that felt like a century to both, the rest of the Marauders came down the stairs.
"Ready for breakfast?" Asked James
"Always ready!" Exclaimed Helena and a few Gryffindors turned their heads to see why the girl yelled.

"Okay, only DADA has left and then we can go play some wizard chess, right Siri?" Inquired Helena
"Dont call me Siri! You know that I dont like it!" Replied Sirius annoyed
"One more reason to call you Siri then. And, I thought of some diminutives for all of you. From now on your names are: Jamie, Pete, Siri and Remy" announced Helena
"Honestly I quite like my name" remarked Remus
"See? Remy likes it!" Said Helena proudly
"Not that he always agrees with you because..."
"James! End of conversation! We have to be on time to class, remember?" interrupted him Remus and he gave him the death stare.

"Hello hello! For today's lesson I have prepared something very interesting. In this drawer, there is hiding a Boggart. Does anyone know what a boggart is? Yes Mr. Lupin"
"Boggart is an shape-shifting non-being that takes the form of its observer's worst fear." Answeared Remus
"Excellent Mr. Lupin. 5 points to Gryffindor. The charm that repels a boggart is simple, yet it requires force of mind. You see, the thing that really finishes a boggart is laughter. What you need to do is force it to assume a shape that you find amusing. The incantation for the Boggart-Banishing spell is Riddikulus. Repeat after me very clearly: Riddikulus"
"Riddikulus!" Spoke the class
"Very well, now I want you to make a line. When it's your turn think of something funny that your fear can turn into." Stated the professor and the students made a line.

First was Mary and the boggart transformed into a clown. "Riddikulus!" She said and suddenly the clown was wearing a ballet suit and started dancing. Next, Kate Wilson and her worst fear turned into a chicken with big glasses.
"Helena your next!" Informed her the professor. Helena took a step forward and faced the boggart. It took some seconds for the boggart to transform. She froze. The corpse of someone that she loved was in the front her.

"REMUS! NOO!" she started crying "Please do something Please...!" She shouted as she fell on her knees. "Make it stop I beg you!" She screamed. The other students where speechless.
"Professor do something!" Yelled Remus
"She has to do it herself!" He Answeared

Remus, then went in front of Helena so that the boggart could shape-shift into his worst fear, the full moon. "Riddikulus" he yelled and it transformed into a yellow ballon that was singing metal. The professor closed the boggart back to the drawer were it came from. "Class dismissed!" He said  clearly recognizing his mistake.

"It's okay, I'm here..." said Remus and he hugged her "Hear my heartbeat? Focus on that... Everything will be alright..."
Helena slowly stopped crying and calmed down.
"Come on, let's go back to the common room..." whispered Remus in her ear. Then he took her hand and they went back to Gryffindor Tower...

Helena didn't speak at all until they entered the common room where almost everyone were looking at her.

"Can we please go to my dorm? I feel uncomfortable here..." she muttered
"Anything you want" spoke Remus and they went upstairs in her dorm. Lily was there waiting anxiously for her friend to come back.
"Take good care of her..." added Remus before he left and closed the door leaving the two girls alone...

"Come here sweetie" said Lily and she hugged her friend that started crying again this time even worse. She didn't know why she was crying. About the boggart? Because Remus saw her? Her feelings were so mixed and all she wanted was to fall asleep and never wake up. She cried a lot and when she didn't, she was just starring at the ceiling thinking about earlier. Later that night she -indeed- fell asleep, although she would wake up 12 hours later to find her friends waiting for her...
