Chapter 16

Remus' POV:

All happened so fast. We were all sitting in a circle playing truth or dare when suddenly I heard Mary mumbling something. Something about hot? Not? Shot? I didn't even get to realize what she said when she put her hands on my cheeks and kissed me. I quickly stopped the kiss but I didn't stop it from happening. As soon as I pulled back I turned my head to the direction Helena was sitting, but I didn't see her. I started feeling kind of anxious, I didn't know what to do. Should I go find Helena? Should I start yelling at Mary? No, why would I? I'm not angry, am I? Why Should I be though?

"Go find her mate" Whispered James that was sitting next to me. It was like he could read my mind. Thank Merlin he stopped my train of thought because I would have just be starring at a drunk Mary that was being hold by Alice. I stood up and I tried to talk but no words could come out of my mouth, so I just signed with my hands the exit door.

Helena's POV:

I finally stopped running and was now slowly walking in the empty halls of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It was a beautiful night with a clear sky full of shiny stars. Thankfully it was a much warmer night than usual, although if I didn't wear my jumper I would be freezing right now. As I walked in the hallways I found a bench and sat to think what would I do from now on. A thousands things have happened in only a few minutes. I loved Mary with all my heart and she was one of my closest friends. It really hurts me what she did and I don't know whether to forgive her or not. I mean, she was very drunk, but obviously this doesn't forgive her actions. Well, only time will tell... I started getting hungry, I've only eaten some pop corns at the party and that's certainly not enough for me.

Remus' POV:

Where should I go? Where could she be? The astronomy tower? I don't think so. The kitchens? Yeah, why not? Whenever she's sad she likes to eat junk food and candies. I started running, again, to go to the kitchens. And there she was, seating on the floor, eating a burger with fries. She looks gorgeous even with ketchup all over her mouth.

Author's POV:

He approached her and placed his arm at her shoulder. "Hey gorgeous" he said smiling. She quickly took a napkin and took of all the ketchup she had in her mouth before turning to look at him.

"Why are you even here? Go to Mary or sum. I don't want you here right now" she Hissed
"What? Why would I go to Mary? What the fuck El?!"
"God you're stupid. With everything that happened earlier you still ask me why Mary?"
"This didn't mean anything. And I mean it. She was clearly drunk, she didn't mean it!"
"Well you seemed to enjoy it though! Just leave. Please."
"I didn't stop the kiss earlier because I didn't realise what was happening. It was quite shocking. But I don't like Mary, I could never like Mary! It's you that I like. Not Mary, not Lily, not Marlene, not noone. You."
"What did you just say...?"
"God you're stupid." He chuckled and as he said that he put his arm at her cheek and kissed her. It was a gently yet passionate kiss. It didn't last long but it was enough for the girl to understand...
