I would like to give a special thank you to my art designer for being willing to create artwork. Any and all characters are fictional, including any events, people, places, references, ex that resemble real life. Example, places in Italy, Lucifer Morningstar, (Sebastian Standish is inspired off of Saint Sebastian from the bible, but is definitely nowhere near similar) This book is not a religious book, this is a dystopian sci-fi. All rights are reserved to me, Samantha Nolin, as the author.

Prologue:

    Among the trail of destruction, among the ruins of what was once the gorgeous estate of the Augustine Mansion, only one item survived the raging flames. A newspaper lays, wrinkled and warped, but still readable atop a desk, scorched jet black.
This scene, but a memory of what was once a bustling world, now barren land caked with ash and dust. Angels have become Earth's greatest enemy, and now, those unfortunate survivors rely on the underworld for protection against beasts that came from Heaven. At the end of this brutal war between Heaven, Hell, and Humanity, there will be a new renaissance. A rebirth of what has been lost.

A gust of hot wind slowly slides the paper off the desk, it glides across the dry, ash covered floor like a sailboat over still water. One page flips, and displayed in black print is an article:

Saturday, March 30, will forever be known as Earth's darkest day. Saturday marked the betrayal of one thousand Angels from God's peaceful side, led by a single Angel, Jude Grail. Adorned in white suits with red letters knit in place of the Angel's breast pockets, read the abbreviation: AOME.
Most know Jude Grail as one of God's most reliable Generals, a prominent peacekeeper that negotiated peace treaties and paid friendly visits to our own leader, President Norman Augustine of RORO.
It seems beings of purity have the capability of  adorning two faces, one of peace... And one with the motive of pain and suffering.
The Human population of Earth is Jude Grail's declared target for this impromptu war. In a quote recorded just before an arial bomb attack, he stated: "Humanity, why must God praise your kind far above our own, his own people— his Angels. We were the first, and you were simple fragments of a half baked desire! A foolish man God has become, and we, the select few who see through his facade of peace and prosperity for all... Have taken a different path— the better path. Humans will fall beneath our fire, they will weep at the feet of their destroyers. Angels were made to light flame, and so let God's perfect world burn at the hands of those he thought he knew, and who do not share the love. We do this in the name of Judas, we are the enemy."

After this appalling display of self determined righteousness, a rain of bombs dropped on the North end of the Reaper Nation. The total casualties of this attack included a recorded three hundred killed, and five thousand injured. A total of ten Demons, and five Reapers, were killed. A chilling two hundred and eight Humans died that day.
RORO General, Sebastian Standish, worked at commendable speed to send RORO's elite five star bomber squad into action. Although the attempt was recognized, RORO's peace agreement does not allow for military intervention involving force. Seeing this obstacle, RORO commissioned a search and rescue organization, to protect the remnants of humanity from a devastating death toll.    

General Sebastian Standish and President Norman Augustine of the: Reapers of Restoration Organization, have contributed greatly to the peacekeeping and peacemaking between our feuding races. But, as more and more Humans die— more and more land and homes are lost— Humans, Reapers, and Demons being displaced, can we keep our trust in them? Are our esteemed military officials doing enough to keep us, our families, and our friends safe?
On Sunday evening, Norman Augustine took the podium to shed light on this tragedy and informed us of a plan to conquer this unlikely enemy. Here is a short excerpt from his speech:

"We have no choice but to fight. If we do nothing, we will become nothing. As the leader of the Grim Reapers, president of the Grim Reaper Collection Division, and ambassador for interracial peace and prosperity within The Heavenly Court, I stand by you all with open arms, and a welcoming voice... We will get through this... We will prevail.
As it is my duty to protect and decide, amongst the Reapers, Demons, and Humans of the Department of Law and Justice, I declare that any man, woman, or being of age and able body, enlist to fight alongside the allies of R.O.R.O. My friends, my family, my daughter Trinity, this is not a dispute between races, this is an act of war! If Jude Grail thinks he can disrupt the democracy and sovereignty of our connected nations... He doesn't know the beast he has angered. The peace treaty we had with the Angel Nation, still stands.  AOME is not composed of Heavenly Angels, and there for the signed customs do not apply— I repeat— Do not apply to their lawless display of selfishness, lack of morality, and act against our laws of International security. These deaths are not simply murders, they are targeted, violent crimes against humanity. Ladies and Gentlemen, it is a sad day for Earth when Angels commit genocide."

It is clear that our leader understands the problem and the source, but the question still remains, will RORO truly be able to defeat an enemy that has killed thousands in a matter of days? Will Norman Augustine present strength, or cowardice, in the face of an international threat to the peace we have spent centuries cultivating. Take into account your loved ones, your life, your national pride and question your morals. This is war, and we must be able to trust those in power to protect us at any cost. If all else fails, our unity as connected nations will give us the strength to protect. Stay strong, stay safe, and never forget that you are not alone, everyone but an Angel is your friend.
