New Beginning, Like New Idea's

Shen POV

Kitty is moaning again about having to redo her design sketches for the new collection as we agreed that they didn't fit the brief.  My phone goes and I pick it up.  I see the text from Xia "Just think about it again and get it done Kitty.  I have somewhere else to be" I tell her leaving my office.

I smile as I ride down in the elevator as Xia is like a ray of sunshine or a breath of fresh air in my rather stagnant life.  I step from the elevator and look around for her, spotting her sitting on the floor sewing little Mo's dress.

I walk up and smile at Mrs. Jung who nods her head as I crouch next to Mo "what happened?" I ask "I wripped my dress" she sniffles with her cute lisp.

"I really like whales too, they are very special" Xia says as she snips the thread.  "Look its all fixed" I tell Mo she looks down and claps her hands excitedly "its wlovely" Mo says smiling brightly.

"Thank you, it was a birthday present from her father" Mrs. Jung explains.  "Grace this is Mrs. Jung, wife of Director Jung and their daughter Mo, this is Grace our new designer" I introduce

"We love your children's toys, Mo has your whole whale collection" Mrs. Jung tells her "I'll make a little whale that can fasten to her clothes" Xia offers.

"You'll be far to busy but thank you" she answers "bye Mo, I hope we can meet again soon" Xia says waving them off.  "That was a very nice thing to do" I tell her "it was a very small thing to do" she says as we walk to the elevator.

We travel to her floor and I show her the space I've put aside for her.  She makes suggestions and asks for a few changes to be made.  "Stewart will need an expresso machine for the break room or he'll drive everyone crazy and in my office, I'd like some potted grasses and succulents to be added as it helps clean the air" she asks I nod making note of it.

"Now if you'll point me in the direction of your store room? I'd like to start getting my office and design space sorted" she asks "I can get someone too get you everything you need?" I offer

"Thank you, but I don't know everything you have, so I'd like to look around myself" she replies "follow me then" I say and lead her to the elevator and down to the storage rooms.

I help her look through everything and place the items she picks on a cart.  "Does the company offices have Bluetooth speakers and a dock?" she asks I nod and she hums happily.

We take the things she has picked back up to her office.  "Now if you'll just point me in the direction of the Bluetooth dock.  You can go back to your work, thank you" she says.  Once I've done that in both her office and work space.  I bid her goodbye

My phone rings and I step to the side outside her office to answer it.  As I finish the call, I hear her start to sing.  I'm that flabbergasted that I actually stand there and listen to the whole song.

Her voice is beautiful and when I peek into her work space she is singing moving things around as she wants it, as well as dancing to the song.  I can't help but smile and shake my head.  "So full of surprises and talents" I mutter to myself.

I reluctantly walk back to the elevator and go back to my office.  I work until late afternoon when my stomach lets me know I skipped lunch.  I think of Xia and the fact that she hasn't eaten as well.  I call her and ask if she eaten "not yet, I got distracted with sorting things out here" she admits

"Is a sandwich and fruit alright?" I ask "yes, anything is fine, thank you" she replies.

I send down for two sandwiches and a bowl of mixed fruit to the cafeteria.  I answer some more emails while I wait for it to come.  Then go back down to Xia floor "you've gotten so much done" I tell her as I enter her office looking around.
