1.

Naruto was normal teen boy. Completely and utterly normal. He was like everyone else. Just like everyone else.

He overheard his classmates talking about this thing called the 'hanahaki disease' if he remembered right. It said it occurs when an one sided love has formed. Recently he had formed a crush or should I say a hallways crush when you've only seen them once yet you can't get them out of your mind that type of thing.

He didn't know his name.

Of course this was before Naruto came out to his classmates. Or when they found out in 3 months time period.

Currently Naruto sat in with a lit up phone in his lap looking up the description of what his classmates had said before hand.

"Hanahaki disease is a fictional disease where the victim of unrequited or one-sided love begins to vomit or cough up the petals of a flowering plant growing in their lungs which will eventually grow large enough to render breathing impossible if left..."

"This is so fake. Who would believe this bullshit? Coughing up / throwing up flower petals? Impossible."

Naruto shuts off his phone huddling up in his bed covers for the next day school.

"Have you heard?" One of Naruto's classmates whisper.

"What?" One responds.

"There is this super hot dude coming to our school today!" The one that started the conversation squealed.

'Typical girl.'

Naruto looks out the window annoyed but curious about this boy coming to the school. The class bell rang and everyone settled down. A tall boy entered the room. He had black hair that looked like it was always styled, which this caught Naruto's attention because he doesn't do much to his hair in the mornings. Well he's normally in a rush anyway because he had a habit of walking up late everyday.

"My name is Sasuke Uchiha." The tall man spoke.

"I am new to this school, I don't know much about it but other then that I hope we can be friends." The boy remains in his posture, leaving the room silent.

"Great greeting Sasuke, you can sit by Naruto who's the blond by the window. Raise your hand for him Naruto." The teacher clapped their hands ready to continue class and get home like everyone else. Naruto raises his hand and Sasuke takes a seat beside him.

"Naruto is you don't mind can you show Sasuke around the school after class? I'll write you a pass for the your next class(es)." The teacher stops writing on the chalk board to look at Naruto in the eye.

"Yes, ma'am I don't mind." Naruto really does mind he has 'better' things to do. But he gets to skip class so win-win!

"Look at this hottie, do you mind if I talk to him before you take him on a tour?" Sakura turns around in her chair, Sakura has sat in front of Naruto since freshman year and they are seniors now.

"Yea yea," Naruto turns back to the window looking at the clouds.

"Sakura, Naruto no talking in class!" The teacher yells.

Time skip : After Class

Naruto and Sasuke walk out the room, Sasuke looking around in curiosity. Sakura following behind.

"Hey! Sasuke right? Do you want to get drinks Friday?" Sakura starts flirting, even though herself can't get a boyfriend.

'I hate girls like this, why do I still talk to her again?'

"No thanks, but thanks for the offer!" Sasuke panics taking Naruto's hand and running with him.

"Hey." Silence.

"Hey!" Naruto yells trying to break free from Sasuke tight hand grip.

"Oh! Sorry!" Sasuke let's go.

"Tour?"

"Yea."

As the tour goes on Naruto has this feeling in his gut like he doesn't want to let Sasuke go. He doesn't want him to stop smiling and laughing. But all good things comes to an end. Right?

At the beginning when Sakura was flirting with Sasuke, Naruto had a death grip on his shirt. He couldn't breath, his lungs feel like they were about to be ripped out of his chest. Was he supposed to feel this way? Especially for a man?

Naruto couldn't get Sasuke out of his head for the rest of the night. Oh what's yet to come.

I wanted to get the first chapter of the Alternative Verse of 'Open your eyes for me.' Sooner but that didn't happen. I have 2 other stories planned that I haven't yet finished writing the first chapter. I hope you stay tuned to how this shit fest goes down <3
