A week already passed since they've abduct me. They haven't touch me or hurt me, and that scares me. They might be planning my death.

I heard someone opened the solid steel door and footsteps entering the cell. I didn't bother to look up.

"Well, well. Look who's here all tied up." Said a familiar voice, making me look at the person.

I felt myself gasped and stared at him. I couldn't believe this. I didn't move, I just stared in disbelief. I felt a lump in my throat and tears started to fall.

"D-Daniel?" I manage to mutter. He smiled and waved at me, like there is nothing wrong.

"Ariella. It's so nice to see you here in this cell, helpless. Do you know how much I wanted to poison your food when you're still with us?" He said, smiling.

"God, you are so dumb. It was also funny when Michael reported that you're falling for him already." He laughed.

"Michael is a part of this?" I said through sobs.

"Of course he is. He is my son. We've been doing this job since he was born." He simply said.

"Why are you doing this to us?! Why?!" I felt anger rise inside me.

"Woah. Calm down, tiger. One word, Money. We've been concurring hidden kingdoms, like Cheriwin, for money." Daniel said as he walked around.

"It's not money, Daniel. It's for revenge, right? You decided to do this job after Michael was born and her mother left you." I said.

"That's a lie."

"No, it's not. You are so hurt that she left you. But news flash, she will eventually leave you because you treated her like shit-"

"That's a lie!" He yelled. He stopped and covers his face with his hand. After, he wiped his tears and looked at me.

"I-I loved Meredith. I loved her so much more than anything in this world. I never treat her like shit, because she was my queen." He said while crying.

"The day when Michael was born, it was the most happiest day of my life. On that day, I proved myself that I could protect Meredith. I proved my parents that protecting princesses is not a lame job." He sat down on a chair across me.

"I loved her so much. She is my everything. She helped me through a lot of things. She is my air when I couldn't breathe, She is wings when I was falling."

"So, you couldn't say to me that she deserve to leave me and her son all alone as she ruled her stupid kingdom."

I felt sorry for Daniel but he needs to realize that princesses have no choice. Even if we wanted to runaway or be a normal person, we can't. Because we have a lifelong contract that we can't just simply abandon.

"Meredith has no choice. She did it because she love you and Michael. She doesn't want you to get involve with her world. If he took you and Michael to her kingdom, would it be easier? No, because you and Michael are in charge of the people in your kingdom." I explain.

He stood up and pulled out a gun then pointed it on my face. I was frozen and I felt my breathing stopped. Is he going to shoot me? I shut my eyes tightly and let the tears flow.

"Do it. I'm tired anyway." I whispered under my breath.
