It was finally Saturday. Zoe and I decided to go in the mall to shop. The thing they've said couple days ago still bugs me.
"Zoe, about what you said days ago-" She cuts me off by sipping on her empty Starbucks cup loudly.
"Oh sorry, what was that?" She asked with a smile.
"About what you said in the Cafeteria days ago?" I adjusted the bags that's hanging on my arm and looks at her.
"I forgot what you're talking about, Ella." She puts her sunglasses on and went inside this shop.
"Oh, can you please hold my bag for a minute?" She asked before me her hand bag and return inside the shop.
Zoe isn't like this. There is something very unusual about everyone. I checked on her and she was too busy talking to some lady inside.
I felt her phone vibrate and I took it out. Hopefully, she wouldn't mind. It was a message from Michael. I looked up from the phone and saw Zoe.
"Zoe, I-" She cuts me off again by snatching her phone back.
"What the heck are you doing? This is mine, Ella. Friends don't sneak on each other's phone!" She snapped at me, causing people to stare at us.
"I-I felt your phone vibrate and I checked it, I'm sorry," I said, I saw her face softens and shook her head.
"You know what? Let's go home, I'm tired." She said then started walking away.
We arrived at the parking lot and we were both silent. I felt someone behind me, causing me to walk a little faster behind Zoe. We stopped in her car and she entered.
"Ella, Let's go." She said as she roll down the car window.
Suddenly, I felt someone grabbed me from behind and covers my mouth with a piece of cloth. I tried to scream and pull away, but my vision started to fade.
Dear God, help me.
