The next day at school, Puck stood at his locker and was once again met by Santana.

"What do you want now?" He sighed once he'd caught sight of the girl.

"Look I don't like you or the decision you and Q made" Santana said harshly "but I know how much Quinn cares about you" she said, her voice taking on a much softer tone.

"If your gonna say 'we should be friends for Quinn's sake', it's alright... don't bother" Puck closed his locker door "despite what you said, Quinn doesn't care that much about me".

"God you're blind aren't you?" Santana scoffed "she's completely in love with you".

"Garbage, she said herself that just because we were having another kid together it didn't mean we had to actually be together... she just wanted another perfect baby" the boy shrugged his shoulders and walked away from the Latina as the bell for class rung.

Santana sighed... she needed to figure out a way to get the two to realise their feelings... she needed to make it up to Quinn.

Despite Judy's disapproval, Quinn went to school, she probably shouldn't have because her first class of the day was with Shelby Corcoran...

Quinn walked into the classroom.

"Quinn, could we please talk outside?" Shelby asked immediately.

Quinn stiffened and forced a smile "sure Ms Corcoran".

"Are you alright?" Shelby asked as soon as the two got out to the hallway.

Quinn was taken aback for a moment "y-yeah".

"I just - yesterday when you passed out I was worried... is there anything going on?" The teacher asked.

"I'm pregnant" Quinn blurted out. She didn't mean to say it, it just came out like word vomit.

A look of shock formed on Shelby's face.

"And it's Puck's" The blonde added.

"Oh - um congratulations" Shelby said uncomfortably.

"Thank you".

"You didn't... do it on purpose did you?"

Quinn looked to the ground.

"Quinn... you realise how serious it is to take care of a child right?" Shelby asked.

"Yes I do".

"It's not something to play around with-".

"I know" Quinn said shamefully "and I'm sorry".

"For what?"

"for what Puck and I did to try and get Beth back" the girl admitted.

Shelby gave Quinn a sympathetic smile "honey, it's alright".

Quinn looked at the teacher in shock.

"I mean if Hiram and Leroy let me see Rachel when she was a baby I probably would've done the same thing" Shelby admitted "I shouldn't have come here with Beth... I'm sorry".

A tear rolled down Quinn cheek and she immediately wiped it away.

"That's why I'm leaving after sectionals... I would love for you and Puck to see Beth before we go though" Shelby said.

"Thank you" the blonde whispered.

"Come on let's get into class" Shelby lead Quinn back into the class.

Quinn took her seat next to Santana, she smiled feeling a lot better than the day before...
