*Part 1*
Ethan Norman's pov:
'Where am I?'
It resembled the emperor's courtroom which looked surprising very dark.
"Why am I even here? Is this some sort of a dream again?"
I saw myself sitting on the throne while passing my gaze on the subjects who were bowing down, showing their respect.
I heard a macabre voice which belonged to an innominate female who was standing beside my throne. Her face was obscured by her blonde hair which hovered over her face as she leaned towards me and whispered in my ears, "You should have executed them immediately. Waiting is torturous. Dragging them all over here from Luckerin....keeping them captive for a whole week travel? You should have just killed them and thrown the corpse in the sea."
"You?! How can you?...How...How could you do this to me?" The owner of the voice was a mint-green haired man who was lying on the floor in a terrible condition. I didn't notice him before cause his shabby appearance almost made him look as if he was a part of the floor. He was forced to bend on his body and his long hair was as messy as a bird's nest.
"He?...Isn't he Markes? Markes Julian? Why he...?"
"How can a prisoner be this impolite? Don't you want a lighter death?", the blonde haired girl commented.
Markes slowly raised his head and smirked, "Are you sure what you are doing?" There was a scar on his left forehead. It's probably been a while since he got scarred and the blood around wound had already turned black.
"You are evil Julian and thus, you need to be eliminated."
"Says who! You almost killed Dylan! Now me? Were we your tools? Right from the beginning?"
"What are you even saying?", she let a high-pitched repulsive laugh. "Dylan will die soon too. You all are evils. This society doesn't need you."
There was a loud cheer from the crowd which had gathered in the courtroom. "We don't need them. Kill them! Kill them!"
"What's even happening? I don't understand anything...and Dylan? Who? Julian—"
"Execute them, Ethan", the girl whispered.
"Kill them.", I ordered without a second thought and blood splattered all over. Only the dead body remained.

"NO!!" I woke up in a cold sweat. The slanting rays of the moonlight seeped in through the window. It wasn't dawn yet. I turned to the side and observed Lennox. He was still asleep, but I was having a bad headache. Nowadays, I often have such nightmares and every time I wake up, I have an unbearable headache.
I got down from the bed and helped myself with a glass of water. I wished to go outside to breathe some fresh air. I looked at Lennox warily, afraid that I will wake him up and silently walked outside my dorm-room.
The corridor was cool and I felt a bit better when a cold breeze soothed me. The pain was slowly fading away. I rubbed my slumberous eyes, realizing that I haven't slept well since the past few days. Or rather I was afraid to have a nightmare as soon as I close my eyes and wake up crying or screaming.
*tap tap tap*
I flinched. Were those footsteps? Someone's here?
I looked back and saw someone quickly disappearing from the corridor.
