I know that I have not been posting chapters on time because I was busy with my studies and I apologize for that.

It's the first month of the year and my finals are also coming up. Therefore, the updates of this book will be slower. I am really sorry.

This the first chapter of Second Season. Hope you enjoy.

I know my writing isn't perfect and I am open to constructive criticisms as I want to be better in what I do.

So thank you readers for your support.

"Is it this girl?"

"Yes." Ivan said, half crying.

I flicked open my tightly shut eyes. Though it was a pleasant morning, the atmosphere wasn't welcoming at all.

"You bullied Mcmillian?", The hostel warden lifted my chin, threatening to scratch me with her nails. She looked menacing, just like a witch.

"Yes, I did." I answered, flatly.

"Aren't you getting too ahead of yourself?"

"No I didn't. She was slandering my family because I don't have a noble background." I abruptly sat up, leaning against the headboard. There were few onlookers, all were girls from the neighbouring dorm rooms.

She motioned to inflict a slap on my smirking face. "At least Mcmillian is from a noble family. She is the future baroness, you dare hit her!"

My hands grabbed her wrist with a hawk like momentum wile my lips broadened into a smug smile. "Don't even try that..."

"..."

I narrowed my eyes and set her hand free, developing a dark illustration on my façade.

The warden pressed her stinging wrist where my firm grip had landed. "You!"

"Tut...tut. This is how you enforce the school rules and punish the offenders?" I flung my arms on her shoulder and my chin neared her ear, hissing venomously, "Drop that witchy face. It only SUITS me."

I jumped from the bed and said, "For your kind information, I am being supported by the Norman family." I didn't believe that I need to reveal the identity of my backer so soon.

"What?! Didn't you say you were adopted by a commoner family?", Ivan exclaimed.

"I lied."

"No way!", Ivan was seen in a cold sweat and was forced to take a step back.

The warden looked at Ivan and nudged her hard. "Didn't you say she is a mere commoner?!"

"I...I...She lied to me...How would I—"

Slap!

The warden slapped Ivan in a haste and shouted at her, "You are really unbelievable! You dared to trick me."

"Shouldn't you probe a bit before getting all nosy?", I sneered at the warden.

"I am sorry. I wasn't aware that you were supported by the honourable Normans." When the Duke is the highest bidder of the academy.

"Hmm. It's okay. Leave us."

The middle-aged woman scampered off in a jest.

"Lydia hit Mcmillian Ivan?! And she also threatened the warden!"

"She is a bully! She is taking advantage of the Norman Title."
