(Y/N)'s POV:

Loki and Elisabeth are talking about my condition while I lay here in bed, listening to them. "When will she be abel to get out of here?" Loki asks. "Depends on how fast she gets better." Elisabeth answers.

I interrupt them by starting to cough really hard. I sit up, gasping for breath between coughs. Loki and Elisabeth run over to me. Loki puts his hand on my back to support me. I panick and try to get more air in my lungs but the more I try to breath the harder it is.

"(Y/N) look at me. You need to calm down. Try to take deep breaths." Elisabeth says trying to calm me down.

The coughing doesn't stop and I gasp for air. Loki takes my hand and puts it on his chest, he takes deep breaths, telling me to do the same.

Finally the coughing stops and I can take steady breaths. Tears roll down my cheeks from the coughing and the burning pain in my troat. Loki gives me a glass of water, which I take and drink. The cold water streaming through my troat, gives a relieved feeling.

I lay back down and Loki starts stroking my hair. I don't have the energy to fight him anymore, so I just ignore it and look the other way.

Elisabeth takes a squirt and looks at Loki, he nods and Elisabeth walks over to me injecting something in my IV. I want to ask her what it is but Loki stops me before I can say something. "Are you alright?" He asks. I just shrug, not wanting to talk cause my voice is still hoarse.

                                                   *************************************

It's been a few days since I'm back in the palace and Elisabeth says that I'm ready to go back to my room now. Normally I would be happy, but now I'm not looking forward to it. Being locked up in the same room every day, not seeing anyone axcept for Loki.

Here I saw Elisabeth and other nurses, but in my room it's just me.

"Are you ready, little one?" Loki asks, while he helps me up from the hospital bed. I just nod, Loki seems happy but it's probbaply because he doesn't need to 'visit' me anymore. Even though I didn't ask him to, but I can't admit that I didn't like it. I love to listen to his stories about his mother or sometimes he showes me what he can do with his magic.

We walk through the hall, but we're not walking in the direction to my room. "Loki? Where are we going?" I ask him looking up at him. "I have work to do." He simply says. "But you always do your work in my room on the desk." I say and look ahead of me, while wondering where we're going.

"I have work to do in the throne room, and you' r coming with me." He says.

The rest of our walk to the throne room is silent. Loki opens the door and leads me inside.

I've been sitting here a while, Loki in the throne, of course, and me on the ground next to the throne. Loki gave me a book to keep me busy, while he speeks to some people who work for him.

"My king, Zemo is here with the winter soldier, as you requested." A guard says. Loki nods and waves his hand, telling the guard to let them in.

"Ah, Zemo!" His voice echoes through the throne room, drawing my attention. I look up at Loki, he notices my stare and looks at me. He nods to my book, telling me to read on.

I look back down at my book and pretend to read.

"You asked for our service." Zemo says. I feel someone's stare and look out of the croner of my eye and see the winter soldier staring at me. What does he want from me? I think.

"So that's a deal, you work for me now and I'll let you kill the ones you want." Loki says smirking, I look back up at him with big eyes. Why would he let them kill people? He is king right? So doesn't he need to protect his people?

Before I know it, they've left the room and I'm again alone with Loki.

I yawn and close my book leaning my head against the throne. "Are you tired?" He asks.  I nod and rub my eyes.

Lately I've been tired a lot faster than usual. it's not that I do much, yesterday I was still in a hospital bed and today I've been sitting and reading all day.  But still, I don't even have the energy to fight Loki.

Before I know it, Loki is kneeling next to me. "Come on." He says while picking me up. "Let's get you to bed."

I want to fight him and say that I can walk myself, but I know that I'm to tired, so I lay my head on his shoulder and close my eyes again.

Loki's POV:

She lays her head on my shoulder and I drain a little of her energy again, just a little so she doesn't notice. I need her to be more affectionate, like Nova was. I need her so tired so she trusts me, so she lets me help her.

I walk into her room and place her on the bed. "No don't lay down yet." I say as she lowers her head to the pillow. "You can't sleep in those clothes." I say and gently help her back up.

I turn around to pick one of my shirts that lays on the desk and when I trun back I see that she's lowering her body again, but before she hits the bed I take her shoulder and hold her up.

Her eyes slowly close and open again repeadly, I can tell that she's in a daze between sleep and being awake. I open the buttons on the back of her dress and it falls off her shoulders.

I look at her face, waiting for her reaction, but she doesn't give one. I smirk to myself and put my shirt over her head and help her to put her arms trough the sleeves. I put my arm around her waist and pull her up. The dress falls to the ground, around her ankles.

I lay her back down on the bed and tuck her in. "Goodnight little one." I say and kiss her forehead.
