We had quite recently left Defense against the Dark Arts class. Something was plainly amiss with Draco despite the fact that it appeared that he wouldn't like to discuss it. In any case, being worried, I left class and attempted to follow him, to ensure he was okay. Nonetheless, in the center of the relative multitude of understudies in the halls, leaving their respective classrooms, i lost sight of him. I figured he needed to be separated from everyone else, to have some time to think, and, feeling tired, I strolled to my dorm. I entered it, lied in bed, and quickly fell asleep, taking a quick nap before dinner. Only some moments after my face hit the pillow, my mind started to wonder and dreaming.
It's anything but a standard dream from the outset. I was strolling on the Hogwarts grounds, doing my walk as I would prefer from class to the incredible lobby yet with a little change in the way, going through the lake. I generally did that, stroll outside alone and sit there, under the shadows of a tree, reading a book, or simply unwinding and appreciating the view. Be that as it may, it wasn't the situation. I showed up there and hopped on the tree (it's anything but a propensity for mine). At that point I hear a recognizable voice, a voice I haven't heard in some time. I pivot yet nobody was there, however, I continued hearing a similar voice, again and again. "It's your fault", a male and rough voice kept saying.
At the point when I went to peer down once more, I saw it. Cedric was there, well his body was, his dead body, canvassed in blood. I thought I was hallucinating, tumbled from the tree. As I arrived on the floor I notice my hands and clothes are likewise brimming with blood, making it seem as if I killed him myself and, to make it more wrecked, suddenly I had a blade on my hand. Frightened, I dropped it.
- "It's your fault" - Cedric said, right after he woke up
- "C-Cedric? You're alive!" - I utter, with my eyes filled with happy tears. I went to hug him but he pushed me away.
- "It was your fault!" - he repeated
- "W-what? What do you mean?"
- "Everything's your fault, everything that happened in our family was because of you, it all started when you were born." - he said angrily. He didn't sound like himself. - "First mom's death, our family financial problems, now me. You're bad luck to us!" - he added
- "Y-you don't really b-believe that." - I stuttered as my tears were now from frustration, anger, and sadness.
- "Yes I do. Everyone agrees you should've died, not me, I was the promising one."
- "C-Cedric..." - I started talking but he interrupted me
- "No. I don't want to hear it. You killed me and then abandoned dad!"
- "I didn't abandon him, he sent me away!"- I state, hurt and angry
- "And with every right, he was upset!"
- "And I wasn't?!"
- "You think I care about you? You left dad alone for what? Going back to Durmstrang? You should have helped him grief! Instead, you left, like a coward, and fell into a state of depression like a weak person people think Hufflepuffs are!"
- "I needed to grief too! And of course, I was depressed! I had just lost my brother! My best friend! I couldn't eat nor drink, couldn't close my eyes without seeing your dead body! Until today that image is still printed in my mind!"
- "I don't care. It was your fault, you deserved all that came your way. Nothing will change my mind. And you believe it too, just look at me, even in your dreams you imagine it as you killing me." - he says, looking down at his clothes and mine, filled with blood and at the fallen knife, the supposed murder weapon in this wicked version of the events.
