The day was September first, 1996. I showed up at Hogwarts, in the wake of being transferred from Durmstrang, where I studied from the age of 11 to, well as of not long ago. I'll clarify everything about my circumstance with time, simply bear with me, I promise my story is anything but ordinary.
Like I was saying, I showed up and, similar to the first years in that year, I went to the sorting ceremony. Arriving wasn't simple. From discovering platform 9 and 3/4 to coming to Hogwarts grounds. Once more, being distracted like normal, I managed to almost lose the Hogwarts express and to get lost and separate myself from the remaining students. Fortunately for me, I figured out how to discover my way to the castle. I was subsequently arranged into hufflepuff, which wasn't unexpected as the entirety of my family will in general be in that house.
The remainder of the day was typical. Little did I knew my normal days were about to come to an end soon. I sit by the Hufflepuff table and chatted with some individuals that were nearby. They're all so overall quite kind, well... nearly everybody.
The following day after I'm attempting to discover the classroom when I accidentally bump into someone and drop the books, material, and different items I was carrying headed to class, on the floor.
- "Ow, I'm sorry, I didn't see you"- I say while i get down and start to gather my stuff
- "Cant you watch yourself? You ruined my day ugh"- a rude yet charming voice said.
At that time I turn upward and see him. A seashore blond-haired kid with piercy eyes. He was significantly taller than me and certainly fashionable, with his dark and green uniform cautiously ironned and cleanned and a shiny prefect badge on his chest. I notice I've been gazing for a couple of moments so I keep on get-together my stuff and get up, trusting he didn't take notice of it.
- "It was an accident, jeez. You didn't dodge either so it's also your fault." - I say while grabbing the last objects and getting up.
- "No, it's clearly your fault"- he says and rolls his eyes - "Ah, a Hufflepuff, that explains it"
- "What is that supposted to mean?"
- " You just proved my point!"
- "What point?"
- "Hufflepuffs are clearly the dumb ones, the house that accepts the rejects, filled mostly with mudbloods"
- "No we're not! We're loyal and kind."
- "That's just another way to say you're weak."
-"No, it's not!"
- "It is. You dont' even deserve to be here!"- he takes another look at me before continuing- "You are a diggory, right?"
-"Shut up!" - I take a deep breath as I don't want to start a fight on my first day- "Why should I tell you?"
- "You will if you don't want to suffere the consequences."
"Right, as if. I'm not scared of you" - I roll my eyes
- "You should be!" - he says while taking a step closer to me
- "Don't you come any closer !" - I say in an angry voice and I'm about to hit him but I don't
- "You.. - he opens his mouth to insult me but quickly realizes I didn't actually hit him so he stops. - You'll regret talking that way to me. You're pathetic, you can't even use magic." - he takes out his wand- "Stupefy!"
- "Protego" - I react in time for an invisible shield to appear around me, which makes the spell backfire back to him.- "I can use magic and I'm probably a better witch than you'll ever be"
- "Right, keep telling yourself that, maybe one day you'll actually believe it. Anyway, I know you are, I saw you at the sorting ceremony yesterday"
- "Aw, don't tell me you have a crush on me already?" - I say teasingly to annoy him
- "Urgh, don't flatter yourself, love, I was just bored and you were new" - he rolls his eyes
- "Riiight, keep telling yourself that, maybe one day you'll actually believe it" - I say, repeating the words he just said a moment ago, in hopes to upset him.
- "F*** off Diggory"
- "Gladly!"- I say frustrated and then quickly turned around, walking to the class i was already late for.
