Chapter 5 : Fuji Mountain

(Y/n)'s POV :

It was early in the morning when I woke up. I got up and went to the bathroom, staring at myself in the mirror. Dark circles barely visible under my eyes had appeared because I couldn't sleep well the night before. My mind was too busy thinking of all possible scenarios for this day than shutting off.

I got ready and walked to the mess hall where I found the other managers getting breakfast ready.

"Goodmorning (Y/n)-san." Haruna greeted with a smile, I smiled back and nodded before heading to their side behind the counter. The atmosphere was suffocatingly quiet, even the girls weren't in their usual hype persona.

After breakfast, we were next to the bus waiting for any other members to show up. We were about to give up when the rest of the team showed up, even Ichinose-kun. A sudden wave of bravery broke the tension in the air with a few encouraging words from Endou.

On our way to Fuji mountain, the place where I ran away from, my hands were shaking from the thought of facing the world that I left behind.

What if we don't defeat them? No. Raimon is strong enough to defeat Genesis.

But what if I was forced back there even if we win, Hitomiko-nee and the others wouldn't let them take me, would they?

"(Y/n)-san? Are you okay?" Aki suddenly asked as a little bit of attention was put on me, I think she had noticed my trembling figure as I was falling deep down into my own internal thoughts war.

"Y-Yes. I-I'm fine." I answered as I felt sicker by the time we approached our destination. Suddenly, my head was brought by someone's hand into a soft shoulder.

"Sleep." Natsumi ordered as she gave me a reassuring smile, "I'll wake you up when we get there." She finished, I smiled and let out a soft smile as I closed my eyes to sleep, which wasn't hard to accomplish due to the lack of sleep I suffered from the previous night. Failing to notice the concerned eyes of Hitomiko-nee as she eyed me from her seat.

Time flew by as we arrived to our destination. Natsumi, keeping her word, woke me up when we reached Fuji mountain where a huge building like UFO was located. Everyone in the bus decided to go out to have a better look at the view ahead of them while I made up my mind to wait inside the bus, refusing yet to look at the place I wished not to return to.

I heard them discuss and the sound of Hibiki-san call Hitomiko-nee by a traitor as the others looked shocked at her. Still I refused to go out.

After a couple of minutes, they returned to the bus as we took off to the front of the building, where Hitomiko-nee entered the secret code to access the place. It was dark and silent, and I knew where we were at. It nearby the weapons and experiments area.

As we got to the middle of a room, we left the bus and took a look at our surroundings.

"Intruders. Intruders. Intruders." A sudden voice kept calling as a door was opened in front of us, I narrowed my eyes at the room as I knew it had to contain some kind of robot-weapons.

A line of robots were placed in front of us as they got ready to shoot soccer balls towards us. But not any normal shoots, they were very powerful ones that could cause serious damage if you get in their ways.

As we hid in the small corner to avoid the impact of the shoots, our team members decided to take down the robots since the machines were using bullets that our team was very used to play with. (soccer ball)

The robots were defeated and a sudden door was opened as small spotlights illuminated the path to another room. The door behind us closed, earning a loud yelp from Kabeyama.

We encountered Seijirou for the first time, but in a form of a hologram. The man spoke about the greatness of Genesis and how the members of Alius academy weren't aliens. Everyone looked shocked, but Hitomoko-nee, Hibiki-san and myself.

Then he started speaking about Aliea crystal and how the head minister refused his plans. In the end, he announced the final battle between Raimon Eleven and the last team of Alius Academy, The Genesis.

Suddenly, a door was opened with a blinding light and the man I despised with my heart stood in front of the door, Kenzaki. We were lead to where Seijirou was currently at, and it was then the first time we encountered the man for the first time face to face.

I couldn't focus on the conversation Hitomiku-nee had with her father as I spent my time attempting to hide from his sightseeing. Fortunately, he didn't notice me as he walked away after throwing a few harsh words at the woman who faced him.

I let out a soft sigh but my eyes turned into a confused one when Hitomiko-nee apologized to the team, but she soon was comforted by the team members as they expressed their gratefulness to her.

She eyed me and I smiled encouragingly at her, she smiled back then we headed towards the room where the players had to prepare for the battle that was awaiting for them.

I was so nervous about facing Hiroto and the others again, but fortunately Hitomiko-nee came to me and placed for hand on my shoulder.

"We will win." She said with a determined tone and look dominating her eyes and voice. I was, at first, taken aback by her single sentence but felt a wave of determination pass through her to me as I gave a nod.

We walked to the playground where Hiroto- Gran and The Genesis were waiting for us.

"Yo Endou-kun." He greeted with a smirk, then his eyes traveled to look at the members of the team as if he was trying to spot me. However, I made sure to stay covered behind the crowd to avoid any sudden outcome.

Fortunately, he gave up and decided to have a small chat with Endou whilst I was with the managers, making sure we had everything we needed.

I wasn't looking forward to whatever was going to happen next.
