. . . 🌼 . . .

Hiroto still had anxiety attacks remembring his father who saw him as a copy of his deceased son.

Then and after two years, (Y/n) and Hiroto were together sharing love and care for each other as Hiroto was free from the abuse of his stepfather and could play soccer the way he truly wanted.

He joined the Inazuma Eleven team and trained with Endou and the others to reach the top and win the world cup. But, that didn't stop the nightmares and panic attacks from happening. Fortunately, only (Y/n) knew about those attacks and would always take care of her lovely boyfriend if he had one. So, whenever Hiroto felt that he was on the verge of a panic attack, he would hurry to her arms.

(Y/n)'s POV:

It was late at night.

I was sleeping peacefully when the sound of my room's door opening woke me up. I sat up looking at who entered at this time without permission, then what I saw made me jump into more awareness. It was Hiroto crying and hurrying to me, I opened my arms wide open as he held me tightly.

I caressed his red hair and ran circles around his back.

"(Y/n)..." he said as he clutched his chest with tears storming down his cheeks. I didn't give him any spoken response but a tighter embrace, his attempts to calm his breathing did not work, so I quickly intervened.

"Breathe with me Hiroto, inhalation in four and same for the exhalation." I said as I began to breathe so he could follow me. He tried his best to calm his breathing while following my actions with his shaky breaths.

"He doesn't see me as myself, he never will." He cried on my chest and squeezed my shirt.

I didn't answer and kept my hand caressing his head while the other rubbed his back.

"Breathe....Hiroto." I tried to calm him, usually his panic attacks last for ten minutes or fifteen minutes. However in the worst cases, Hiroto suffered for thirty till forty minutes.

He shut his eyes as his head dropped to my stomach, I stroked his hair as I whispered reassuring words from time to time.

After a while, his breathing started to come back to normal and his grip loosened. That was a good sign which indicated that the panic attack started to vanish. Hiroto didn't rise his head or let go of me for another thirty minutes just to make sure that the attack came to an end. Then he lifted his head and let go of me.

"Much better?" I asked as I held his hand with a soft smile. He hugged me tightly and mumbled, "Thank you."

I couldn't help but smile and hugged him back.

"No need to thank me, Hiroto, I'm here for you, always." I said and closed my eyes.

He pulled away and kissed me on the lips, then my forehead and he put his own on mine.

"I don't know what I'll do without you, I'm really glad you are by my side." He said while caressing my cheeks with his thumbs. I giggled and said, "Let's go to sleep."

He smiled and nodded, then laid on the bed on his side and patted the empty area beside him. I gladly accepted his offer and laid next to him with my head on his chest, I could feel his slow calm heart beating like a music. Slowly, I drifted off to a peaceful sleep. Carefully not to wake me up, Hiroto kissed my forehead and smiled before he turned to sleep.

He was very grateful.
