House of Mirrors/House of Tricks

Eddie walked out of the room, and everyone else followed. "Where is he going?" Patricia asked everybody. "I don't know. Let's go find out!"

Everyone was running, and Eddie entered Nina and Amber's room to get the handle for the Mirror. "Where are we going?" Fabian asked. "To Apep's pyramid."

Alice and Angus finally arrived at Reggie's hotel where they were going to build the Disk of Kek. Somebody knocked, and Reggie said, "Come in!"

Rufus, Victor and the rest of the old Sibuna had came. "I don't have time to waste. Let's build this thing and release our master."

Alice set the broken briefcase down on Reggie's bed, and opened it. "No, no, no!" Alice said, teeth gritted. There were no Disk pieces. Just a CD. Angus took it out of the briefcase as Rufus started screaming, "Aghhhhh!" He threw a lamp across the room. "You've been fooled!"

"I-I don't understand. You said Eddie wasn't suspicious of you." Gracie stated. "That wench of his probably told him. And Eddie just pretended that he didn't suspect a thing."

"You can never underestimate those children." Victor stated.

Alice took out her laptop as the group huddled around. She popped the CD in the CD player and watched the video that Eddie had left for them.

"I guess you weren't expecting this, huh?" Eddie starts off.

"We knew you were after the Disk of Kek pieces. That's how it was so easy for you to fall for our trick. You underestimated the love I have for my wife. And the love I had for you. I trust her. I was there when you threatened her." Eddie explained.

"You didn't realize that we wouldn't leave something that important out in plain daylight. Which was your mistake. You don't know your son." Nina said.

"So, finally, ex-Mom, ex-Dad, don't expect me home for dinner!" Eddie finished. "You don't eat dinner at their house Eddie." Nina added.

"Oh, you know what I mean!" The video clicked off.

"Find that Disk! I have someplace else to be." Rufus left the room.

Sibuna ran all the way front of the pyramid and walked in. Amber touched Nina's shoulder and asked, "Are you sure you want to do this, Nina?"

Nina sighed. "No, not really. But if it saves me from waking up to a life of despair in a hundred years, then it's worth it."

Nina looked at Eddie, who had the mirror's handle in his hand. "Nina..."

"Eddie. I need to do this. I can't lose you guys, and I can't lose Fabian. Hand it over." Fabian snatched the handle out of Eddie's hand. "Nina, please. I'm begging you! Do you understand what will happen if Sihafa goes back in time and changes the past?"

"It will be her torturing us instead of Senkhara, yes, I know." Nina responded. "It might not be just that, Nina. What if she succeeds in going into the afterlife with you? What if she kills us all so Eddie can't stop her like he stopped Senkhara?"

"We don't have time for what ifs! The same thing will happen as last time. Sihafa wants Senkhara's life, then it will be like her life. In the Duat. Give it to me, Fabian."

Joy screamed. Everyone looked at her. Rufus had her in a chokehold--with a gun to her head. "Build that stupid mirror, Chosen One. Or everyone's favorite pipsqueak gets her brains blown out."

"Rufus if you hurt her, I swear I will kill you."

"Give it to me, Fabian!" Nina yelled. Fabian sighed and handed it over.

Nina put the mirror on the stand. She got the glass pieces on the ground and assembled them one by one.

"I will get what I deserve!"

Nina completed, but nothing happened. Just then, a whirlpool of blue smoke starts to come out of the cracks of the glass, making an smoke crow form. The crow flew around the pyramid for a couple of seconds, then dives back into the Mirror.

The Mirror began to shake, and Nina took a step back. A blue light shined throughout the room, and the cracks were no longer shown on the Mirror. It was whole.

"Finally." Rufus pushed Joy out of the way and dropped his gun. "The Mirror is whole. Now, I can fix what I started, drink the elixir and go to the afterlife to become a god. The world is mine!"

Rufus held the mirror in his hands. Nina tried to take it back, he just pushed her on the ground. "Nooooo!" Sihafa appeared, angrier than ever. She used her powers to shoot Rufus with lightning, and he was thrown across the room.

"Continue!" Sihafa yelled.

After all that light is gone, Nina heard a whisper in her head.

Make the crack...

She followed her instincts, and took off her locket. She used the pointy end of the locket so it could make a long line across the room, and after she was done, she made everyone step back. The ground started to rumble like an earthquake, and the line Nina made became a crack in the Earth. Straight inti the Duat. Sihafa smirked.

The heat of the fire kissed Nina's face, and she took another step back as the person she never wanted to come out of that hole formed. The crack closed. It was impossible for Senkhara to ever return to the Duat.

She waved her long fingernails at Nina. "Hello, Chosen One." Senkhara evilly smiles at me.

Then, Senkhara noticed Sihafa. "Sister?" Senkhara smiled. "2,000 years. Is there nothing you must say?" Sihafa snarled.

"I-I've missed you." Senkhara said. "Wrong answer, sister. I want an apology."

"What did I do to you?"

Sihafa scoffed. "You don't even know what you did. You ruined my life, Senkhara. I wanted to be the queen of Egypt! You never did."

"Sihafa, I-I never--"

"It doesn't matter, sister. Soon enough, you will be dead."

"What do you mean?"

Sihafa becomes serious. "Put your face in the Mirror, Paragon."

Before Nina did that, she turned to Fabian, whose lips were quivering, signaling he was on the verge of tears. She kissed him, and said, "I love you."

I'm guessing you know what is about to happen so their is no point in leaving a note. When I could just ask questions!

Will Sihafa accomplish her long-life plan?

Will Nina get her body back?
