House of Invites

Sibuna was watching Black Trench Coat and the old Sibuna on TV. They signed off, and it changed to a commercial. There was a knock on the door, and they slowly walked toward it. They opened it.

Nina grabbed the box, and put it on the coffee table. They just let it sit there for a minute. "Wait, there's a note on the side." Jerome announced. He took the note off, and read it aloud. "Be there when the clock strikes midnight. Black Trench Coat."

"Who is Black Trench Coat?" Joy asked. "Maybe it's old Sibuna's new boss." Amber shrugged.

Nina opened the box, and eight invites are inside. We all open the indigo envelope, and find an invitation.

"Patricia Williamson, you have been invited to London's annual underground Masquerade Ball." Patricia read aloud. "Same thing here." Eddie added.

"So Sibuna wants to play hide and seek." Patricia smirked. "What's the plan?" Patricia asked. Eddie gently grabbed her shoulders, and set her down on the couch. "This is called being lazy. Not a plan."

"We're winging it. But you can't come along." Eddie told her. "I'm pregnant, but I still have my powers."

"The reason you're pregnant is the reason you can't come along. I can't let anything happen to little Ricky." Eddie explained. "Wait, Ricky? Her name is Charlotte." Patricia corrected.

"What kind of a name is Charlotte? You know what, we'll discuss names later. You're going to stay here with Jerome."

"I am?" Patricia frowned. "She is?" Jerome wondered. "Yes. I love you." He kissed her forehead, and left with the rest to get ready for the ball. She was alone with Jerome, and  she sighed.

Just as he tries to sit next to her, Patricia said, "Come within three feet of me, I dare you."
