Perse felt a searing pain in her head as her eyes fluttered open.

"Finally awake, Miss Riddle? How do you feel?" Albus Dumbledore said, with a smile on his face.

"Like my head was stomped on by a dragon." Perse groaned.

Dumbledore chuckled. "Of course, I have to leave now, Mr. Potter will tell you what I said, won't he?"

Harry nodded his head eagerly before grunting painfully and clutching his head. Perse giggled.

"I shall be going now." said Dumbledore walking out of the Hospital Wing.

"I feel terrible. What happened?" Perse said to as Madame Pomfrey made sure the bandage around her head was secure.

"Eh, nothing really. We defeated Voldemort, you hit your head and had a nasty concussion. Madame Pomfrey said it was lucky Dumbledore came at the right time. "

" Did he tell you why Quirrell burned when he touched us?" Perse said hesitantly.

"Yeah, apparently when your mother died for you and my mother took that spell instead of me, it created a protection around both of us. Their love for us saved us. I guess I've got to thank Mum for that." Harry chuckled.

"Yeah. I guess. Hey are Draco and Rose . . . are they alright?" Perse asked.

"Uh, yeah. Neither of their injuries were that serious. Rose wouldn't leave your side, they had to threaten expulsion to get her to move. And speaking of Rose, she bought us both a get well gift. It's bubblegum. She loves this stuff. Want one?" Harry asked, handing her a strip.

"Um . . . yeah, sure. I don't usually have bubblegum. I can't  blow a bubble and it's embarrassing because I'm probably the only eleven year old not to be able to blow one." Perse laughed.

"I could teach you." Harry offered.

"Sure." Perse scoffed.

" Spread it out in your mouth, stick your tongue through the disk like thingy and pull your tongue back and blow into it." Harry said.

Perse did as instructed and a big bubble was blown. Perse motioned excitedly towards her big bubble proudly.

"Very good." Harry grinned.

But then it burst in her face. Harry began laughing. "Ha ha. Very funny." Perse snarked.

They walked to the Great Hall, Perse making failed attempts at blowing a bubble.

Perse sat up at the table proudly upon seeing the Slytherin banners in the Great Hall.

The Gryffindors were at the bottom. Everyone at the Slytherin table congratulated Perse on her bravery.

In her opinion, she wasn't being very brave at all. All she did was get imprisoned by Voldemort. But everyone enjoys praise and Perse was no different.

Dumbledore arrived moments after.

"Another year gone!" Dumbledore said cheerfully. "And I must trouble youwith an old man's wheezing waffle before we sink our teeth into our deliciousfeast. What a year it has been! Hopefully your heads are all a little fuller thanthey were . . . you have the whole summer ahead to get them nice and emptybefore next year starts. . . . Now, as I understand it, the House Cup here needs awarding, and thepoints stand thus: In fourth place, Gryffindor, with three hundred and twelvepoints; in third, Hufflepuff, with three hundred and fifty-two; Ravenclaw hasfour hundred and twenty-six and Slytherin, four hundred and seventy-two."
