Chapter 1: McCann
*Olivia POV*
"WAKE UP! TIME TO WAKE UP! YOU GUYS HAVE-"
"JASON SHUT UP! SOME OF US DON'T HAVE SCHOOL!"
Every morning.
I swear my dad did this to annoy us and annoy our mom. It was Tuesday today and there was no way, I could force myself to wake up.
Why?
Because I'm new to high school.
It's my first day as a freshmen and I can't handle that kind of attention. I already had enough for being 'Jason McCann's and Alison Jennings'' daughter. Apparently they had this great and tragic love story or whatever.
They wouldn't tell us their story, but when I was born they were separated for like two years and that's why I have both their last names because I originally had my mom's but when they got married and since I was my dad's kid they added his name, so I have like a duel last name.
Kids at school are always saying how my dad like beat the living crap out of my mom and stuff, but I don't believe it. I mean.. My dad is so sweet, a bit of a short tempered person but he was sweet.
My dad was currently 37, pretty young huh? My mom is 31. They believe love comes in many ways being they are six years apart.
I have two younger siblings.
Scratch that.. Two younger brothers.
Me and my mom are left to fend for ourselves in a house of boys.
Jase was 12, going into middle school. He was nervous but not that bad. My parents always pick on him because he was accidental and they weren't in the best spot when my mom got pregnant with him.
Mason was 10, going into 4th grade. He, however was excited about going to a new school. Mom got pregnant with him a few years after Jase. I think they just had him because they were married now so why not?
I finally decided to get up. I'm told I look like my mom more than my dad. I only got his hair and eyes. Other than that.. I was my mom's twin. I showered and threw on a pair of shorts, my dad would hopefully approve of, a cut off shirt that was black and had the words in bold 'STOP!' on it, and a red flannel. I blow-dried my hair and put it in a side braid after putting on cream eyeshadow, mascara and eyeliner.
I put on my converse shoes, then grabbed my Nike backpack before walking downstairs I made sure I had my pink iPhone.
My siblings were already downstairs chowing on breakfast. I could smell the garlic salt from the stairs. And I was a pretty decent ways away.
My mom says that she once made eggs for my dad with garlic salt and he got addicted to it. She also says that one time she caught him in the middle of the night eating it off his finger like it was Nutella.
"Hey momma." I was super close with my parents. But as I grew up I got closer to my mom because she understood all the girl stuff. But when I want to talk about boys.. I go to my dad. He's approved some boys for me, like I'll show him pictures and tell him what I know then he'll give me his honest input.
(Between you and me, I don't think he'll ever think anyone is good for me because he's that good of a dad)
"Hey hon- Oh you know your dad isn't going to approve of those shorts.. You know that right?"
"They aren't that short."
"Arm length?" I sighed. They were below my arm length. And my dad drives us to school. I heard my dad's thumper feet coming down the stairs, shirtless, something he was always doing because he was weird. His arms and parts of his legs were covered in tattoos, he even tattooed my name, Jase's name, and Mason's name on his abdomen next to a tattoo that said 'Forgive'.
"Hello fam- What the hell is my little girl wearing?!" He was a constant swearing bomb. Mom says he used to swear like it was a second language to him when she met him.
"Um.. Shorts? It's hot out daddy." I smiled. I'll always have a certain place in his heart where he'll crack eventually with me. The boys didn't have that.
"Those are to short! Boys will be looking at you! No. Go change."
"We don't have enough time." I told him, we honestly had time. I just didn't want to go back upstairs and change. "Plus it matches."
"I'll only let you wear it if you let me walk you to your first class." He always knew the ultimate form of embarrassment.
"Really daddy? You can't just let it pass?"
"No. High school boys are a lot worse and hornier than middle school boys. Their testosterone is terrible."
"Please. It's not like I'm going to have sex. You know me. I'm a good girl." I outed my bottom lip, which has always worked since I was a baby.
He tried looking away, but he couldn't help it.
He loved me way to much.
"Oh my gosh fine. But we are going shopping later. Together."
I loved shopping with my dad. I didn't mind that.
"Okay. That's cool. Now let's go.. I don't want to be late." My dad laughed, shaking his head.
"Okay whatever. Let's me grab a shirt and shoes and we can go." I smiled, racing my brothers for the passenger seat.
I won.
That's not three years of track wasted.
"Why does she always win?"
"I ran track for three years. Duh."
"Stop fighting you little weirdos. It's fucking annoying." After he said that he mumbled a small 'shit' under his breath.
"Oh.. I'm telling mom." Mason laughed.
"You tell mom, I'll tell her that a certain someone stole and cookies and hid them in his closet. That are currently hidden behind your socks." Jase and I both looked at Mason while me dad smirked. "That's what I thought."
