I know it my "Memory Found" chapter the ending may have been confusing because in very old chapters, Jack called out the word Dad and North would turn along with Bunny. I know that but in these next few chapters, I'll explain.
This chapter will reflect on past experiences, you'll see with who and their importance...
I do want to say that my very old chapters may have different meanings now that I have grown and matured in both my writing and plot making. In those one-shots, that's all they were back then was just one-shots in different times and different scenarios but now that I've grown it's become clear that I should match them up. I hope that makes sense.

Flashback: Before the Incident
Sunsets
"We can't keep hanging out here, why can't we go back to your home?" Sam looked over at Jack who was whining again. He took in the child like manner and couldn't help but see the image of his son behind his eyes. Sam looked back out at the sky line of New York, the sun setting perfectly.
"Because Jack, I want to see this sunset. You wouldn't like my home. It would be to boring for your cracked out squirrel attention span." He smirked at Jack's cry of offense at his comment. He honestly wondered sometimes if Jack suffered from ADHD or ADD, he had found a book on human health and everything that came with specific things a human could go through. He did it for Jack's human side.
"We always watch the sunset, Sam. What if I want to see it from your home? Pleaseeeeee, I can entertain myself!" Sam sighed as he looked over at Jack who was laying on his stomach just staring at him. He held out his arm and watched Jack's decision making go into play on if he wanted the hug or not. It took Jack a minute before he moved into Sam's side.
"Just watch Jack. You never actually pay attention to it when we sit. I'm trying to show you something along with it when we sit." Jack huffed but sat and watched as the sun disappeared. He couldn't help but feel a little upset as the bright colors went away, that meant it would get dark soon. Dark always felt alone to him.
"Why do you look sad, Jack? You know the sun is rising on the other side of the world." Jack just glared at him before moving away. Sam looked at the boy as he brought his knees up to his chest and glared at the moon that had been sitting in the sky on one of the rare moments where the sun and moon would share the sky.
"Why would you make me sit and watch as something left the world alone? The light is gone." Jack watched the light disappear but didn't want to say goodbye to it. He wanted to use the wind to follow the light so he wouldn't be in the dark again. His insecurities took over his mind lately when it came to the Guardians and feeling like he belonged again.
"You know the sun is rising in other places. It never really left the world alone, it just said goodbye to this part for a while." Jack shook his head. There was no good in goodbyes. He didn't understand why the word was even in that horrible word. He hated goodbyes because goodbyes took things away.
"Jack, there are some things that say goodbye but they are always there. You can still go to see it somewhere else and you know it's still there. I'm trying to teach you that even if you can't see it, that it's still there. Even if you can't see them, they are still there." Jack froze as he heard the underlying meaning to Sam's words.
The Guardians had gone on a mission to somewhere deep in the world as there seemed to be a problem in magic near the equator. Jack couldn't go because it was dead in the middle of summer. His mind took him to a bad place as he took it as they didn't need him anymore, that was their way of goodbye. He hadn't been to any of their homes to see if they had come back or not yet.
